There have been questions about my recent silence in the Celeste Rivas Hernandez case. From the beginning, my goal and my client’s goal has been to keep pressure on law enforcement and the DA’s Office to thoroughly investigate her case and seek justice. Making sure this case did not fall through the cracks was our focus. We are proud that important evidentiary items we brought to the public’s attention, such as the chainsaw and burn cage have become an important part of the case and included in the pretrial brief filed by prosecutors, even though they were not collected during the search warrant. There are many other items as well, some the public is aware of like the SD card with photos, lost surveillance footage, and there is much evidence we have not disclosed. We do not understand why it took seven months to get to the point of charges being filed, especially considering that nothing changed substantially since December 2025, but we are happy that there is finally progress. I am not a journalist. I am an investigator. My clients and I will now allow justice to take place. I will attend all court hearings, but there is no need for me to speak on a regular basis about the case. We consider our investigation a success, and we are proud of the transparency we helped bring to the case. We are not standing down, and we are not going away. We simply will not have anything to say until the pretrial hearing, unless there is a significant development in the case, which I do not anticipate.
