
my thoughts so far -
softbody3d is a clunky and editor-heavy process, having to separate meshes and then bone attach + pin points - rather difficult to script a dynamic system around
i also haven't gotten good results yet, but ran out of time so i'll have to do another pass at some point before i commission any 3d work

has anyone used softbody3d in #godotengine 4.5+ for like shawls or coats? i havent worked much with soft bodies before and not used to the workflow to begin with so if anyone has tips or good resources to learn from i'd appreciate it 🫡
