Visited Örnsköldsvik today with Minister of Defence Robert Kaliňák for the roll-out of Slovakia’s first CV 90 at Hägglunds. The CV 90’s mobility, protection and advanced firepower will significantly strengthen Slovakia’s land forces and reinforce European defence cooperation.

Deputy Speaker of the Slovak Parliament M. Dubéci is leading our deleg. at the 4th Crimea Platform Parliamentary Summit in Stockholm. Representatives from 70+ parliaments are discussing ways to ensure a just peace for Ukraine and support its sovereignty/territorial integrity.

🇩🇰🤝🏻🇸🇰 Minister Juraj Blanár inaugurated the new Honorary Consulate of the Slovak Republic in Copenhagen, further strengthening our representation in #Denmark. The new Honorary Consul, Mr. Jacob Fromm Christiansen – a Danish entrepreneur and long-standing friend of #Slovakia – will help enhance 🇸🇰🇩🇰 cooperation, particularly in trade and investment, as well as in culture, tourism, and consular assistance to Slovak citizens. #Slovakia is also preparing to open another Honorary Consulate in Denmark, in the city of Aarhus on the Jutland Peninsula 🌍

With the EU Minister @marie_bjerre 🇩🇰 ahead of the Danish EU Presidency 2025 we went through the major EU agenda like #MFF, #competitiveness or #migration. Slovakia stands ready to be a constructive partner during the approaching Danish EU Presidency 2025. 🇸🇰🤝🇪🇺🤝🇩🇰

Very useful exchange with @ErikOttoson Chair of the EU Committee in the Swedish Parliament @Sverigesriksdag, and fellow MPs. Our discussion on key EU challenges and priorities showed how valuable direct contacts at parliamentary and political level can be.🇸🇰🇸🇪

#OTD we commemorate the 160th birth anniversary of great 🇸🇰 inventor, innovator or "Radio Priest" - Jozef Murgaš. Upon his emigration to the 🇺🇸 (PA), he was the pioneer of wireless transmission of the spoken word for which he has been recognized as one of the inventors of radio.

With Sweden’s recent contribution, 14 Nations now make up the 🇨🇦-led #NATO Multinational Brigade in #Latvia. Today, I was delighted to host Ambassadors and senior military representatives representing these countries to underscore Sweden’s historic deployment. #WeAreNATO

We express our deepest condolences for the victims and their families and heartfelt sympathies to all affected by today’s shooting in Örebro. Such violence has no place in our societies!
