Collector Crypt is great, honestly. Ive bought loads of cards and redeemed them and love that theyre doing sealed now. But, @collectdotrip still has the advantage imo for Sealed Pokemon products. Sealed Packs, Booster boxes, ETB's, and more. I love the idea of pulling a sealed case from a gacha machine but EV has never been there for me

I’ve seen a couple of posts about NFT project collaborations with communities and the distribution of whitelist spots. It’s not about whether you’re a big account or a small account; it’s about how consistent and relevant you are in a specific field. Let’s not forget that all the big accounts were once small accounts. It’s not something gifted by God at birth. I’ve seen many of these accounts grow from fewer than 5K followers to over 50K followers. For community founders complaining about whitelist collaborations: - When we started our community even back then we didn’t get collaborations with hyped NFT projects. Did we complain? No. Did it make us sad? Yes. Did we give up? No. We took every opportunity to collaborate with upcoming NFT projects regardless of how big, hyped or small they were. We kept going. We did whatever it took to get those partnerships done. For people complaining about not getting whitelist spots: - Just go through my account and search for Glass Painting, Canvas or Rice Art. You’ll see how much effort I used to put into getting whitelist spots for NFT projects. And not every effort resulted in a whitelist spot. I used to make an insane number of glass paintings and other artwork for a single project just to earn a whitelist spot. It has taken us years and years of hard work to get where we are in this space. It wasn’t luck. It was consistency, relevance and hard work. One thing I’ve learned in this space is this: don’t cry over things that are beyond your control. Be happy for your friends. Be happy for the people around you. And most importantly, be happy for the space because when the space is winning, you’re winning too and you’re a part of it. It’s been a long journey and the job is not finished.

Like i have always said i honestly don’t care about spots for myself or whatever it is that you guys thought you did but i am concerned about you saying “we definitely don't collab with br0s that show zero support” If you check this tweet: x.com/kelvinoyibo2/s… You will see i launched the biggest raid towards your project same as i have made more than 10 independent tweets about your project, it’s quite irritating that you gave a community 300 spots(according to you they’ve been there for you lol) but you didn’t even think the efforts, my community members put into raiding and supporting wasn’t appreciated. I have personally posted more bullish tweets about your project than i have done for any other project for free lol What’s more worse is seeing low effort accounts raffle your spots on X as GA which at this point, i see a witchhunt which is pretty baseless, you don’t grow by ridiculing a community’s efforts because you probably have a beef with the CM or whatever your reason was lol Also you need to understand that this is going to be one of every projects that can most likely go to zero so the idea of not understanding what real support is, is what seems pathetic to me. And my pain is actually seeing that even projects/community with less support for you got spots for your project. a few things here. first, it's important to note that actually, yes, anyone, can create collections on opensea. there's a common misconception that to mint on our platform, you need to partner with us or get our permission. this is simply not true. anyone can use our creator studio to build contracts and setup mint pages. just because you see a mint on opensea, that doesn't mean our team was involved with or endorses it. the same thing goes for trending. these systems are largely automated based on volume and other factors. we don't "place" things in trending. second, i don't think the community has a full understanding of just how challenging of a problem this is to solve. opensea literally takes down tens of thousands of collections each week. and every time we make adjustments to those systems, bad actors look for new creative ways to get around them. there are manual processes as well, but they don't scale infinitely. there's a balance. i'm sure you've seen other posts recently where our automation was too aggressive, and legitimate collections were taken down by mistake. at the end of the day, there will always be some that get through the net. but even then, we usually catch them quickly. lastly, at the end of the day, people need to take responsibility for their own purchase decisions. buyers should do 10 seconds of research into projects and not just ape into the latest thing they see as they're scrolling. as an example, respectfully, who in their right mind would have minted a Claynosaurz above when none of the main channels were promoting it? i'll note that i used to be one of the people on X that gave opensea a hard time for things just like this. then i got to see behind the curtain, deeply understand the real problems, and recognized there's a lot more to things like this than it might seem on the surface. and these issues are happening at levels of scale that most don't appreciate. that doesn't mean we can't improve or do better. i'm certain our trust & safety team will be evaluating this particular mint and evaluating potential adjustments.

Today marks my final day at Cool Cats. I’ve been drawing Blue Cat since 2013, starting as a doodle, to The Catoonist, to Cool Cats: a digital art collection, a Macy’s Parade balloon, and an animated series. Since I was little, all I ever wanted was to create a character of my own. Blue Cat is how that dream came true. The Board has decided to take Cool Cats in a new direction, one that no longer includes me. I respect their decision, and I’ll always want the best for Blue Cat. The closest thing I can compare this feeling to is raising a kid and watching them leave for college. I gave him everything I had over these 13 years, and now it’s time to wish him well. Thank you to everyone who believed in me, to every employee who poured their heart into this, and to the fans who stood by me through every high and low. I’m sad to move on, but excited for whatever I create next. I love you, Blue Cat. Thank you for everything.
