Thrilled to announce we have reached another critical milestone on our pathway to FID - the signing of our first commercial offtake agreement for the South West Arkansas project with Trafigura Trading LLC. Under the terms of this binding take-or-pay offtake agreement, Smackover Lithium will supply Trafigura with 8,000 metric tonnes per year of battery-quality lithium carbonate over a 10-year period, beginning at the start of commercial production, with pricing terms structured to support the anticipated financing for the Project. Great day with @SenTomCotton at our demonstration plant. Our DLE facility is the most advanced in the U.S., operating 24/7 since 2020, processing 33M+ gallons of brine, and powered by 30+ locally trained operators. This work is key to strengthening U.S. energy independence!

It was great to tour Standard Lithium’s operation in El Dorado yesterday. Developing the Smackover Formation will lessen our dependence on critical minerals like lithium from China and bring good jobs to South Arkansas.

Our SWA Project was front and center during the Unlocking Lithium in Arkansas with DLE panel, with Standard Lithium CEO David Park and Equinor's Lisa Rebora representing us well. And a very special congratulations go to Arkansas Secretary of Commerce Hugh McDonald for receiving a Voltas Award and being named Leader of the Year. Well deserved!
