I believe that Jesus is the ONLY way to be reconciled to God. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I believe He is the Son of God and is God. I believe He lived a sinless life and then willingly laid His life down as the Lamb Who was slain before the foundation of the world Who took away the sin of the world. I believe He was raised again from the dead, ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the Father's right hand. I believe He is coming back soon. If you believe these things, you are my brother/sister in Christ, whether we agree on any other doctrine or not. I am a dispensationalist, a believer in the pretribulation rapture, and a literalist (meaning that I read the Bible as literal where it intends, as poetry where it intends, as historic narrative where it intends, as a simile when it intends, as an allegory where it intends, or as a symbol where it intends, etc.) I believe there are prophecies yet to be fulfilled and that Daniel's 70th week is fast approaching. I have a very comprehensive body of research that has convinced me of these things and it would take weeks to explain it all, so I won't engage in discussion about it on a platform like this. It's perfectly fine if you disagree with anything in my last paragraph. Lots of people do. Lots of people agree with me, and that's fine too. If you disagree with anything in the first paragraph, you might want to reevaluate your belief system. Or not. It's always been and will always be entirely up to you to accept or reject Jesus. What on earth does Buddhism have to do with anything I said? I actually looked into every major religion at one point. I determined that Christianity is true, therefore every other religion is either false or has incomplete understanding (Judaism.) A) property taxes and insurance have ZERO to do with interest. B) On a term loan, the first payments are more interest than principal, but the amount of interest at the halfway mark is about half the payment and the latter years are almost entirely attributed to the principal. C) No one makes anyone take out a 30-year note. You can do a 15-year note and save a ton on interest, but those taxes and insurance are always going to be there.
