Anonymous post: How involved are your governors in spending decisions? My SBM has left, and I recruited a part-time replacement (supplemented by LA support), which still works out cheaper than before. I had to make these decisions quickly over the summer, but now my resources committee says I should have sought their approval. Do I need to run decisions like this past them?

We had a year 6 child on the interview panel for a teacher today. At the end the panel were asked if they had any further questions. "We employ a Dialogic teaching approach at our school - tell us what your understanding of that is please." she says. Couldn't be prouder!🙂
