☎️ Pt: hi did my dr send on my norco? Me: yes but it looks like I can’t fill it until tomorrow (3/29) Pt: well I filled it on the 28th last month so it’s due now!! Me: there were only 28 days in February so we will fill it tomorrow when it’s due

@JOE_CHAMMAS I live in the middle of nowhere and know traveling is hard for some patients but in this case there was an earliest fill date on it

*at counsel* Me: here is your new dose of carvedilol Pt: yeah those carvedilol tabs are tiny. I once dropped one of my old ones between my counter and my fridge but couldn’t get it so I left it there. A few days later I found a dead mouse and the tablet was nowhere to be seen!

For my non peds colleagues, yes.. otitis media dosing for amoxicillin is “high”

In store Pt: hi I have this cough and was hoping to get a recommendation. I don’t have congestion but when I take a deep breath it rattles and I cough *proceeds to demonstrate multiple times and cough all over me without covering their mouth* I’m also sick now… I hate it here
