Since they are made with a variety of chemicals, their recycling is expensive, difficult, and many if not most end up in a landfill where they contaminate subterranean waters.

Waymo is being marketed as a “Green environmentally friendly” because they are “all-electric, zero-emission vehicles” But take a look at this, the entire fleet here in Austin Texas is being charged with Diesel generators…. Just another scam Here’s something even more crazy, I looked it up and found that charging electric vehicles like this with diesel generators is actually WORSE for the environment than if you were to just buy and drive a gas powered vehicle So this means not only is it a scam, but it’s worse for the environment than just driving a normal car

@Eretrieh @WallStreetApes Yes, lead is recycled and lithium batteries have a finite lifespan but these are different topics. A more complete response would be, “lead and lithium batteries have finite lifespans. Lead and lithium are regularly recycled to 100%.” Lithium, like lead, doesn’t wear out.

@JVTacoma Reporting a bug doesn’t do anything. I’ve done that many many times and even sent emails to Tesla just trying to fix HWY speed limits around here. Nothing. For years, nothing. I haven’t tried OSM yet.

For the last 3-4 months my Tesla Nav map showed my street speed limit to be 50 mph. It is 30 mph. I used Grok to figure out how to correct it. It suggested the Report Bug feature and going to openstreetmap.org and doing an edit on the street information. So I did. That was Friday. Monday my street speed limit started showing 30 and has been 30 all week…. I did about 4 bug reports and that edit. Not sure which did what but something changed.
