@evanlapointe I'll bite & disagree as a blanket statement yet appreciate the generality. I create some processes so I don't have to remember every.tiny.detail.for.quality. It frees my brain for creative thinking. e.g. I have a process to close my books correctly each month. Thoughts?

In my experience, #Amazon #PrimeDay is a scam for the most part. I compared my "deals" to trends via camelcamelcamel.com and realized they were just the normal prices... soooo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ guess it's time to divert that $$ to @nordstrom's #AnniversarySale instead 😁

@evanlapointe Insensitive or not - it gives you the opportunity to demonstrate to others how having courage looks and works when it comes to changing your own behaviors. I've got lots more ideas that might be worth considering :) so I signed up for advisory group.

@evanlapointe My $0.02 is that it's good that it doesn't make sense to you b/c you have that courage. To me, it also doesn't make personal sense and is why I struggle to understand others at times. But then I have to remember that courage is a skill and it's HARD.

Why are all meeting transcription tools still so bad? If I upload a transcription to ChatGPT and tell it to clean it up and correct possible errors it gets so much better. Why not automagically do that for me?

@iamphilwade Cool. I’m vibing with this, I do think productivity is important to look at but it shouldn’t be on a daily or even weekly scale. Knowledge work should be valued on a longer timeline - to the tune of quarters and years.

@SmallsMeasures IMO, productivity is always the wrong metric for knowledge work (should be measuring outcomes not outputs). In cases where the job can be measured by productivity then why is there even a WFH argument, simply a/b test it!

It seems the entire WFH debate is missing a foundational point: it is arguably impossible to differentiate b/t productivity & busy-ness for knowledge workers on a daily basis. Others don’t have this problem, so merits of WFH are debated when it’s a matter of productivity. WDYT?

@GrulkeLamonte @MissFit415 Brightness and color are different things. Stay with the 3000-4000k bulb colors they sell the best. Get them brighter if it’s too dim.

11 days on the market, NOT A SINGLE OFFER. Any guesses why? Part of me truly thinks it’s just the area. 215k is evidently still too expensive for many people for this area. I’m adding a fence around the whole property (3k~) hopefully that helps. I’m concluding a few things, 1. I’ll need to start making these a bit more affordable, especially in this area. I’m thinking 199k max. 2. Perhaps it’s just high interest rates that are making this difficult to afford for many. 3. Lastly if this home doesn’t sell, I’ll refinance what I have into it and turn it into a rental.
