@SeanDOlfc I've been saying this since the Bournemouth game when Salah was in bits at the end while the kop were singing Jota's song. Nothing good can come from it on the pitch. Salah and Virgil are struggling with their performances because they are grieving
I honestly think the fans need to stop singing the Jota song. We didn’t know him personally and it just feels like a nice gesture. Reality is the players are quite literally being reminded of their dead friend in the middle of a game every week.
@drink_AG1 I recently subscribed. A contributing factor was the advert stated no sugar or artificial sweetener but then when it arrived it clearly states "with sweeteners" (plural). Presumably natural? But why not be more transparent, I'm now suspicious. Please clarify.
1/6 I'm sharing a short update on my tribunal case that sells to have HMT found in contempt for their failure to adhere to the FTT ruling compelling them to share the final draft of the sham Morse review. The case will be heard on the morning of 18th September 2024 so that's
BREAKING
Nadhim Zahawi is standing down at the General Election.
🔹Another Tory leaving their rat-ridden ship
🔹Remember him?
🔹The one who threatened @danneidle with legal action when Dan was pursuing the story of Zahawi's unpaid tax.
🔹Turns out Zahawi as Chancellor was dealing with HMRC about a £4.7 million tax bill he says he shouldn't pay after putting share sales in You Gov through his father offshore.
🔹Then Zahawi lied about it
🔹Then he had to step down as Tory party Chairman
That Zahawi?
🔹They don't like the idea of democracy do they?
🔹Years in opposition without their hands on the purse strings...
@SeatfrogHelp@Seatfrog your app is broken. Every time I use your upgrade auction it just sends me in a loop. I find my train, press "yes I have a ticket" and then it just takes me to this screen but doesn't show me the auction. Terrible.
@wealthagent@LC_Impact Thanks for your concern. My only real concern is if the loan ever gets recalled then I will have been truly spit roasted. Keen to understand how I might protect myself from that. Maybe change my name and go into hiding?
@Smart73673990@LC_Impact That’s a relief. I was a bit concerned for you.
(Anyone who tried that same tactic with post-DR loans would have moved from 2017 settlement terms to the more penal 2020 settlement terms & I’m not convinced those who promoted not settling post-DR loan fully warned people.)
It was incredibly stressful...I wrote on the settlement paperwork that I was reserving my rights should there be a change in the legal position in the future and it was rejected...I feel like I have had my rights removed and been gagged.
#LoanChargeScandal#LoanCharge
@wealthagent@LC_Impact Pre-DR. No requirement to declare loans in '19 tax return. I'd declared them during open enquiry. I paid £75k liability + IHT. Last correspondence was 3 yrs ago saying enquiry now closed and because I haven't signed an agreement this could be beneficial to me in the future...
@Smart73673990@LC_Impact I’m afraid that’s not so smart.
If you don’t have a settlement agreement in place then all you’ve done is made a payment to account & now you’ll be liable to the more penal 2020 settlement terms
(if it’s post-DR loans & you passed up a chance to agree settlement before 30/9/2020)
@wealthagent@LC_Impact When I got my "settlement", I paid the liability including IHT but I refused to sign the agreement. Signing the agreement is effectively an admission of wrongdoing. I proposed amendments to the agreement like you would do in any contract negotiation, but they were rejected.
@LC_Impact The whole point of settlement is that it’s final. You can’t go back on that agreement & neither can HMRC, unless there is default.
Complaining it prevents you from reversing settlement is nonsense. Certain tax advisers have been leading people astray

@SpionKop1906 Never mind 2%. I would pay double the price for me and my lad to have a season ticket, even if it wasn't a great seat. Count yourself lucky if you have one. And no, I'm not a Tory.
We are disappointed in the Football Club’s decision towards ticket prices for 24/25. In response, there will be no flags on The Kop for Thursday night’s game. Unlike the Club’s own approach, this has been agreed in consultation with other fan groups
