@TraderBerns Oh will be a big time sell the news. I haven’t sold a single share of UVXY. Despite the markets hitting all time highs, the VIX bounced back. My SCO position is a little concerning though. Not performing like i expected with Oil sitting just above $91.

Someone pointed out to me that tech is going to have a lot of earnings this week and the market is likely pricing it in. It’s going to be super volatile as I noticed the tech companies tank after earnings but recover quickly like in the case of ASML this morning. After I get whatever I can for this current short, which probably won’t be much, I’m just going to stock with longs for awhile unless things fall through with Iran. And even then with Iran, not sure if the market will care if conflict continues)

My guess is that PPI will conveniently come in about 0.1% above its expected value.

@JPATrades Lot of people couldn’t account for the manipulation factor. This is not the time for options. I’m strictly ETFs and still down, but not down much.

@TraderBerns Yea my (20) 696 put position isn’t looking too hot. I think a lot of this has to do with the anticipation of the new FED chair lowering rates. Unfortunately, it will destroy the US economy.

I don’t know if you have been trading for years or decades, this is my first time seeing this straight up V-shape even stronger than the April bottom. $SPY 🤷‍♂️ No idea what are they hiding, just my opinion.

Today is April 15th, tax day. My father Irwin Schiff referred to it as the real April Fool's Day, as on this day millions of Americans volunteer to pay a tax that no law actually requires them to pay. For years my father asked the IRS to show him the law, but they never did.

@TraderBerns I’m not even going to begin to try and understand it. I’ve always suspected that Israel has heavy money behind this market, and that’s what they held over the US for Iran involvement. Trump’s metric for how good of a president is measured solely by Wallstreet.

@thuhkang Honestly this is the most confused I have ever been with trading. Trying to sit it out and be discipline. I have $iwm puts for middle of may and $vix calls for May. I can't see how this crap is making a 3rd wave up when all else shows bearish to me.

Up 9 days straight on Nasdaq Huge gap up last week…no retracement to trend support since Hormuz strait closed. I get that we heard that Iran might make a deal…and that we are ‘talking to the right people.’ But how many times have we heard that and the market chooses to continue to pump? I put on some $SPY puts today in power hour (for a couple weeks). This huge up move, with the war not settled, makes no sense to me.

I have seen that and it’s true. Oil producer are pumping as much as they can. But, the current price is way below the actual price oil is trading at. The supply chain shortage is real and a ship was harassed today in the Red Sea. Where the conflict left us was with attacks towards energy infrastructure, so if that continues then prices will spike

@TraderBerns @JohnLoc18 I’m not complaining. I have 1k shares of UVXY, and i’ll roll those profits into shorting oil. Have you noticed inventories keep rising despite the price of oil going up? People are either driving less, or we’re flooding the market. Either way, the price needs to come down.
