Pre-product: $6-40m Early-traction: $10-60m Pre-Scale: $40-$300m Scale: $80m-$1b And it’s not necessarily time-related. You could be raising in any of the first 3 buckets less than 12 months after founding.

Enough already. There is no pre-seed, seed, or Series A (or whatever the fuck comes before pre-seed). It’s all dead. And that’s fine. IMO it’s now pre-product, early-traction, pre-scale, and scale. And the valuations?

@supremerumham Because when you are traveling with a family and have to keep an eyes on children and 10 pieces of luggage, it's way easier to put all the electronics away until you get all the way to the airplane. No cost to losing a paper boarding boarding along the way.
