Happy 78th birthday to Paul Powell. Originally a 1st round draft pick by the Twins in 1969, Powell was traded to the Dodgers from Minnesota after the 1971 season. He played 10 games for LA over the next 3 years, spending quite a bit more time with AAA Albuquerque.
