They cannot disable your private property, even if you were using it to cheat at a video game, which isn't illegal just a shitty thing to do If they disable your equipment, they will get sued and they WILL lose This is why every company is updating their EULAs and TOSs so you don't actually OWN anything, thus negating your ability to sue them when they take away the things you paid for

Game: Valorant AC: Vanguard (VGK) Today’s Vanguard anti-cheat update blocked the majority of DMA firmwares using SATA/NVMe. VGK suddenly triggered an IOMMU restart warning in-game, after which the DMA firmware becomes completely unusable, even without the game running or after uninstalling Vanguard. Only fix is a full OS reinstall. It’s using IOMMU to create read blocks, which permanently breaks the majority of almost all SATA/NVMe firmwares once triggered. Even the advanced H2-board got affected. Confirmed Firmware Block wave by @ItsGamerDoc

The backlash from the “Having Roblox+ publish games” makes no sense to me. $5/m to publish on a platform that offers hosting, data storage, and a massive global audience all while making the platform safer? Sign me up, now and forever.
As a developer, if you can’t make that money back with a game then you may need to reconsider some things and assess why you’re actually mad at this situation. Back in the day you used to NEED Builders Club to publish more than 10 games, and OBC (20/month) to DevEx for that matter. And to my knowledge, with this change you’re still able to create and test games within groups without paying anything—just not publish publicly. Is there something I’m missing or misinformed on, because all of this seems rather performative?

Very cool seeing the wave of empty tankers heading to the US to pick up some desperately needed crude for Hormuz-starved markets. All the tankers on the map below are empty VLCCs (~2 million barrel capacity each) currently heading for the US Gulf Coast.

BREAKING: Iran cannot fully reopen the Strait of Hormuz because it "cannot find" some of the mines it placed in the waterway and lacks the capability to remove them, per multiple US officials cited by NYT.
The mines were laid quickly by small IRGC boats, and some have since drifted from their original positions. NYT also reports that Araghchi's earlier "technical limitations" comment on reopening was specifically about the mine removal problem.
