Primero que nada.. buenos días!! 🚨Sony asegura que ha dedicado “mucho tiempo” a estudiar esta decisión y que avanzará “con cautela” hacia el fin del formato físico en PlayStation. 🚨Pues precisamente porque lo han pensado tanto, es el momento de que los jugadores respondamos. Si aceptamos esto en silencio, mañana vendrá la siguiente decisión que muchos consumidores consideran perjudicial. ✅¿Servirá el #PSBlackout? No puedo asegurarlo. Lo que sí sé es que quedarse de brazos cruzados nunca ha cambiado nada. ✅Del 23 al 30 de agosto voy a participar en el #PSBlackout. It’s been almost a month since Sony officially announced that it would stop producing physical discs in several markets. Most people only look at short-term success. I’ve seen this pattern before. When I said Game Pass wasn’t a sustainable longterm strategy, people laughed because all they saw was “$10 a month for hundreds of games.” When I argued that Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision would create more lonrterm problems than benefits, I was told I had no idea what I was talking about. Not long after Microsoft laid off more than 10,000 employees. Yeah PlayStation will most likely have a record breaking year thanks to GTA VI. But that’s not the point. The real question is whether Sonys current strategy is built for the next decade or just the next financial report. A huge portion of PlayStation’s revenue comes from players who mainly play Call of Duty, EA Sports FC, NBA 2K, GTA or Fortnite. These players are overwhelmingly digital and often stick to the same few games for years. They’re not necessarily loyal to PlayStation they’re loyal to the games they play. If another platform offers a better deal or a better ecosystem, many of them will switch without much hesitation. The people who truly built the PlayStation brand are the hardcore fans: the collectors, enthusiasts, and long-time supporters. Ironically they’re also the group Sony seems most willing to alienate. Many of them already own multiple platforms, making it easier than ever to stop buying PlayStation hardware and software altogether. A company can ignore its core audience for a while, but not forever. The consequences won’t appear overnight. They’ll accumulate slowly, year after year, until one day everyone wonders what went wrong. We’ve already seen PlayStation learn this lesson once during the PS3 era. Success can create confidence. But when confidence turns into arrogance, history has a habit of repeating itself. #PSBlackout #NoDiscNoBuy

I don't know how you just let a second hand market get killed by Sony and do nothing about it. They deserve so much more backlash and outrage over this. This is important. #PSBlackout

Feels like PlayStation has switched tactics to calm the social media backlash. The main profile has been posting less, but the regional accounts continue promotions. Maybe to spread the protesters thin. Don't fall for it. Keep voicing your displeasure whenever you can!

The game industry as a whole, needs to stop using film grain. It does nothing for the visuals, it does not make the game feel like a “film”, all it does is add an ugly grain filter that ruins visuals. Halo remake is the latest victim of this and has NO option to turn it off🤦‍♂️

Hacer ruido contra Sony SÍ FUNCIONA: ➡️ Sus posts comerciales se ven comprometidos y sus relaciones con desarrolladoras con ellos al recibir quejas por la mala promoción que están dando. ➡️ Bajan sus ventas al ahuyentar a posibles compradores y bajan sus subs, reservas y compras de usuarios por perder toda fiabilidad. ➡️ Se informa a más usuarios sobre la situación actual de la empresa y el devenir del gaming. ➡️ Sony tiene que terminar pagando costes de rectificación, devoluciones y reembolsos. ➡️ Puede provocar caídas en el precio de sus acciones por poner a sus inversores en desconfianza. ➡️ Afecta a su reputación, la cual tardarán muchos años en reconstruir después de esto. ➡️ Los lleva a investigaciones de consumo. Al amasar tantas quejas y demandas, se activan protocolos y tienen que pasar auditorías varias. ➡️ Sanciones gubernamentales que gracias al eco que se da a la situación se tiran para delante. ➡️ Y la más importante, se evita que la empresa se recupere y estabilice, dejándola en una situación propicia, social y económicamente en entredicho, para obligarla a rectificar. 📝🔥 Que nadie os diga que hacer ruido no sirve, porque es justamente el poder que tenemos como fans y usuarios frente a las empresas y el mayor miedo que estas tienen es que se extienda, al desestabilizar completamente su mercado. 🤫❌ Callar y simplemente irnos no hace el trabajo, si queremos cambiar las cosas hay que mantener la antorcha bien arriba, mantenernos unidos y pasen 15 días, 2 meses o un año entero, tener la entereza suficiente para seguir hasta ganar. En ello nos va el futuro del gaming, nuestro bienestar y derechos a la tinencia física y digital, miles de puestos de trabajo en el sector y el mercado entero de segunda mano, pero no solo eso. También nos va la respuesta de las demás empresas, que tendrán que aflojar la cuerda y seguir los pasos de Sony para garantizar sus ventas y adecuarse al mercado que queremos y luchamos por restituir.
