@florian_krammer @DrNeilStone Um.... Lentiviruses? They belong in the nucleus.... But Ivermectin doesn't do anything to them either :-)

@DrNeilStone LOL, of all RNA viruses I can think of only influenza has any business in the nucleus. Most of the other ones - including hantaviruses - replicate in the cytoplasm. I recommend Fields Virology to Mary. It is helpful to understand the basics.

A 72-year-old man presented to the emergency department with a 2-day history of an itchy rash on his back. On physical examination, edematous, flagellate plaques and linear patches were present across the patient’s entire back and upper buttocks. 1/2

@phylogenomics For isolated bacteria we use Eurofins. Overnight turnaround... not sure how price compares to what you've been using.

Three more atlas papers. Is Nature sponsored by 10x Genomics now?

So is this what the revolution that @mbeisen promised for @eLife comes down to? Instead of more papers being sent to a larger number of reviewers for evaluation a smaller group of editors will get to reject most of them prior to review?

So many people have been name-dropping me in their grants that NIH/NIAID had to put out a warning.

In addition to single cell proteomics, transcriptomics, and metabolomics, my lab is now using machine learning to identify factors important for SARS-CoV-2 infection. You'll never guess what we found.

As a trained PhD virologist, I have several top-notch recommendations for how the government of Mauritius should be run and how Islamic Studies should be conducted.

Why are so many people trying so hard to tell me urine is sterile? Do so many people feel like their life & self worth is dependent on urine being sterile? Be open to new information, folks. Your world will not crumble if urine is not sterile.
