Schalke have just beaten Düsseldorf 1-0 to win promotion back to the Bundesliga.
There’s going to be one hell of a party in Gelsenkirchen this evening.

I genuinely can’t believe how that draw has fallen for us. It’s obviously a huge opportunity, and arguably could benefit the league run-in too when comparing what City are facing.

@SmithRowRecords @_Taapha @cfc_xanny @GeoffArsenal The goal was checked btw and it was deemed okay. I don't think interference is a factor here because both players were jostling for the ball since it was a corner kick

@jakawiti @_Taapha @cfc_xanny @GeoffArsenal Enzo was in an offside position and interfered with Mosquera’s ability to play the ball - Goal should have been disallowed, it’s not difficult

@_Taapha @cfc_xanny @SmithRowRecords @GeoffArsenal You know the rules state you can't be offside directly from a corner right? Interference doesn't apply here because both players were jostling for the ball.

I'm looking at some established sports journalists and thinking - these guys really are thick as mince. Every tweet from Ollie Holt or Henry Winter just makes me think 'these guys are REALLY dim'. Top tier fan analysis is now SO superior to established TV or print media punditry
