@FMontwell @DMRussini PED usage is a far worse violation than anything the Patriots did. Defakegate has been debunked 10x over. Spygate was a technicality over the location of filming. There’s not actually a competitive advantage to filming from the sideline vs the legal location.

@DMRussini It's amazing how cheating is tolerated in football compared to baseball. Few were "shocked" when Barry Bonds was not voted into the baseball HOF. (Of course it may be unfair to compare Belichkck and Bonds. Bonds was never punished by the league for cheating).

Harrison was somehow not selected for the pro bowl in 03 despite being named first team All-Pro. Wasn’t selected in 04 despite being named 2nd team All-Pro. People just hated the guy.

Darren Woodson has numerous Pro Bowls and has about 2 years of eligibility left before he goes senior comm.

@garygold23 @MLFootball There is a distinction between violating rules and cheating. For example, swearing at a press conference is a rule violation but it’s not cheating because there is no competitive advantage. The same logic applies to the Patriots filming from an unauthorized location.

@garygold23 @MLFootball The violation had nothing to do with what they were filming. The issue was that they did it from an unauthorized location. Any team can legally film signals from a box. There is no competitive advantage to filming from the sideline vs the legal location.

But Brady/Bill shouldn’t because they filmed from an unauthorized location(would have been legal otherwise). Not even close to the advantage of vaseline/stickum.
