@PeterSchiff There’s an epidemic of political analysts on X saying “ Trump is either” then they proceed to just list a couple options that are both most likely incorrect and are just personal desires.

Given Trump's history of lying, nothing he says about the war can be believed. Trump is either lying as part of his negotiating strategy to win more favorable peace terms with Iran, or he is lying to the American people to pretend that the war is going better than it actually is.

These people seem to forget the current regime overthrew the previous because they wanted to cozy up to the West. Those people are still in Iran. The Iranian he’s describing is not the whole. Piers is just too cowardly or too paid to recognize that’s who we’re trying to get back in power.

Trump says we had great talks with Iran. Iran says there were no such talks. There’s some chance Trump made that up to calm the markets. But there’s also some chance his advisers told Trump there were talks to appease him. The president living in an alternate reality is not good.
