@NuggetsNotes That’s what I don’t get either. Bad loss, yes. Horrible loss. But they didn’t have Gordon or Watson and Jokic turned the ball over like it was a hobby. That’s the only thing I’m concerned about… because it’s becoming a recurring issue. That has to stop. It’s why they lost.

Well that was rough for Denver… still worth resting AG. If you have watched this season you can’t be surprised by that game. Surprised people are jumping ship, you will be back

@prmorphine I can get with that. Tyus probably hasn’t played a minute with Jamal this season, tho. Pickett might’ve worked. But those Grizzlies are so young, so athletic, and play so hard and fast… that’s part of what made Jonas difficult to play.

@prmorphine I like talking with other Nuggets fans? This team has access to more data than we could ever possibly imagine. They went into that game thinking (correctly, imo) that they wouldn’t need AG to win. They have an entire staff of extremely smart people. They’re not trying to lose.

@prmorphine In the same way there are five guys on the court at any one time, there are 48 minutes in every game. Cam played 34 minutes tonight. Spencer played 27 (and was a minus-22). Should Cam have played 40 and matched Jokic/Murray/Braun? Maybe? With the pace they were playing, IDK.

@PrincePickaxe Jokic played 25 minutes last night and was rather enjoying himself on the bench getting rest. What is he sabotaging? He’s not getting calls from officials. Any calls. If he’s upset about anything, it’s that.

It goes without saying that the reason the 2-11 effort is crippling, is because he plays horrendous D when NOT tired. Tonight it was non-existent. On more than one occasion he defended Jokic (for all intents & purposes) while his man shot wide open threes.

Denver’s gotten one of the worst whistles I’ve seen all season in Memphis tonight.

Cam Johnson critics pretty quiet lately.
