Ronnie O'Sullivan called Ireland "the most special country in the world" after making the John Virgo Trophy final.
O'Sullivan beat Stephen Hendry at the famous Goffs venue in County Kildare.
He said it was a "shame" Goffs no longer has an event on the main tour. #snooker
A special weekend JV would have absolutely loved....❤️
It's the John Virgo Trophy this weekend. Ronnie O'Sullivan, Mark Williams, Stephen Hendry and John Higgins all compete in the Snooker 900 event.
Live coverage on Five Action and Pluto TV from 2pm (UK time). #snooker
The only thing I’d say from a negative viewpoint today is that there wasn’t really much mention of John Virgo in the actual arena. From what I could gather, there was plenty of JV talk on the telly. But for the fans here, I felt that was missing.

@kelvmackenzie on weekend. Got no doctors surgeries open on weekend or bank holidays. They say lots doctors and nurses without job. Get them working weekends.
A builder friend waited 15 months on the NHS to have an op his wrists for severe carpal tunnel.
Yesterday he turned up at the hospital and with an hour to go was told by a nurse….there’s no doctor to do the op.
BMA members are selfish, idle and already overpaid.
Cut their money.
@kelvmackenzie Puzzles me why can't find doctors to work on weekends. Why don't they employ doctors and nurses to work Mon to Thurs. Employ some to work Fri Sat Sun. Pay weekend staff
more money. It's so stupid when go accident and emergency. Less staff during week. Have no clinics open
A cashless society means…
No buying anything with privacy
No piggy banks for your kids
No market sales or car boots
No ability to budget for millions of people
No tips directly to waitresses & hard workers
No selling second hand items for cash
No giving money to the homeless
No cash in birthday & xmas cards
A cashless society means FULL control of ALL your money
And your freedom
@robprogressive What annoys me is when people get on bus to pay by credit card. Or app. Does not go through. But bus driver lets them on without
paying. Then bloody council puts bus fares up. So can prats who have no money on credit cards. Walk.

We remember Flying Officer Christopher Paul Wyeth Warren, who died on 8 April 1945, aged just 20.
He rests in the Berlin 1939–1945 War Cemetery, Germany. Gone so young, remembered always. 🕯️

It's Dinky's birthday and she turns 21 today! She's been with us 4 years now (doesn't time fly?) and is a sassy, cheeky member of our Shetland herd! Happy Birthday Dinky! We look forward to sharing many more years with you...
Anyone getting benefits totalling over £12.5k per year in value should have to pay tax.
If the pensioners have to, and minimum wage workers have to then so should they.
There shouldn’t be a two tier system between those who work or have worked and those who have not
The triple lock is a mechanism to ensure the old age pension keeps up with inflation.
If it's scrapped, what sort of pension will young voters get when they retire?
Doesn't anyone think ahead these days?
@DrNShastriHurst A half-timer, earning the national average per hour, pays no Income Tax.
Most are mothers.
They want to work, and would be claiming more if they didn't.
They include

Domestic violence victims
On Monday, Labour caved on the two-child benefit cap. And it’s hardworking people who will pay the cost.
Now welfare is heading for £210bn by 2030–31 - with £100bn on sickness and
disability alone.
No reform. No discipline. No plan.
Britain deserves better.
