@anon_opin You're confusing wood pigeons with rock doves (regular pigeons) - wood pigeons build proper sturdy nests out of twigs (see pic). Rock doves traditionally nested on cliff faces, so they suck at nest building

The wood pigeon has a laughable attempt at a nest. How they haven't died out is beyond me.

My neighbour has a big spread of Spanish Bluebells. Every year, I dig up a few and plant wild garlic bulbs, to flower next year. He gets really excited about his success in growing albino bluebells. I will never tell him.
