@TBestig @ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia No actually, it's an internal critique on their stated value of reducing vandalism. Read
English

@SnapperClapper1 @ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia Why doesn’t it mean that?
It would reduce crime. That’s what you think matters.
English

If you openly fortify your mailbox, vandals will simply attack non-fortified mailboxes instead. If every mailbox is theoretically one that could be fortified, vandals will stop bashing mailboxes in out of fear.
Isn't the latter better for society as a whole?
The Blessed Salt 🧂@theblessedsalt
> “Why can’t I fortify my mailbox??” You absolutely can, but this isn’t mere fortifying. This is sneakily hiding the fortification to cause disproportionate harm to the vandal. Fortify in a way that advertises the fortification and you’re on solid ground.
English

@TBestig @ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia No. What on earth does this have to do with letting vandals maim themselves?
English

@SnapperClapper1 @ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia It’s a simple question.
Locking up all young men until they’re older would prevent crimes. Does that mean we should do it?
English

@SnapperClapper1 @ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia Locking up every man between the ages of 13 and 26 would prevent many crimes. Would that make it moral to do?
English

Medicare for All is the definition of "big medicine." If you want to break up the medical cartels, you need to allow competition across states lines -- eliminate state-based regulation via the commerce clause.
Melat Kiros for Congress, CO-1@MelatKirosCO
Yep. We’re gonna win a trifecta in 2028, but if we don’t use it to pass Medicare for All, cancel all medical debt, and break up big medicine, we’re handing 2032 to Republicans and their next Trump-ish figure. We can do big things. This is the long game and we need to lock in.
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia It doesn’t I am providing a counter example to your reasoning. Try to pay attention
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia What does Muslim or Christian have to do with decorum?
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia Ok so if some number of people in a state are say Muslim or Christian, the state is Muslim, Christian or not meaningfully a state? This is your nonsense logic
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia No, it cannot. The state is composed of the people and if the people are killing in the street, either the State lacks decorum, or it is not meaningfully the State.
The "polite, proper, calm" number of lynched people is zero.
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia No that doesn’t make any sense.
The state can still maintain decorum, behavior that is controlled, calm, and polite, while members of its society do not.
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia A state that cannot keep its people from killing each other in the streets is not a successful or stable state. It's among the ur-examples for being worthless as a government. It lacks function, much less decorum. It is a failed state.
Does that make sense to you?
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia We’re not doing this whole misunderstand words and blow past a simple question thing.
How is a murder by random people supposed to degrade the decorum of the state?
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia What is the purpose of this so called decorum if it isn't for the purpose of maintaining authority and respect? Are we supposed to look at it and make thoughtful noises?
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia ‘Authority and respect’ are not decorum.
You benefit from a cursory reading of these terms in a dictionary.
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia Killing people in the streets, especially ones adjudicated as innocent by the state is inherently damaging to the authority and respect of that state. This should be self evident.
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia Your question is nonsensical. Lynching (and extrajudicial killing generally) simply has no impact on decorum of the state.
How is a murder by random people supposed to degrade the decorum of the state?
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia Can you clarify to me how you intend to maintain the decorum of the state's justice system when you intend to overwrite it when it delivers verdicts you don't like?
English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia The state benefits from a veil of decorum.
I support laypeople hanging/lynching criminals let off by the state
English

@SnapperClapper1 @CleistaCelestia Chop hands on the courthouse steps then. Say it with your whole chest.
English

@EZ10Sid @bronzeagemantis It’s because we are governed by gay fat retards, the antithesis of the statue. Hope this helps
English

@bronzeagemantis >Bronze Age pervert
>doesn’t support Bronze Age statues
Is it because it’s a goy idol? Will Yarvin the pretrans shtetl dwelling Hebrew mutant midget stick his little bulbous thumb up your ass for being a bad goy?
Pull his pants up after you wipe the cum from his mouth Shabat goy.

English

@ChimaeraBachVT @CleistaCelestia Maiming a vandal would prevent many more crimes, no?
English

@CleistaCelestia I really don't have a fundamental issue with the thesis of using a reinforced mailbox to discourage vandalism. I'm not a fool however, and I see plenty of people are more excited about maiming a vandal than preventing a crime.
That motive is also a negative to society.
English

@bashmurianlarp @alexandros85814 @kynnigos @Trad_West_Art As everyone knows, states are administered by exactly and only one person, the guy at the tippy top
English

@SnapperClapper1 @alexandros85814 @kynnigos @Trad_West_Art Eastern Rome had 0 Greek emperors when Egypt was part of it and it only started becoming Greek linguistically at the end. Right before Egypt was lost to Muslims (btw the first to make orders in Greek, in the eastern Roman Empire was an Egyptian in Constantinople)
English

@alexandros85814 @kynnigos @Trad_West_Art Alexander for like 9 years (with the help of Egyptians), a Greco-Egyptian dynasty for 300 years and that’s it
1,000 years where lol?
English

@SnapperClapper1 @grok @paleonormie because it revealed that they make $68k/yr? You make more than that at buccees
English

call me back when you can do this for the employable degrees like accounting and civil engineering
Marc Porter Magee 🎓@marcportermagee
College students are now “speed-running” through higher ed: “It takes most college students at least four years to earn a bachelor’s degree. Christie Williams finished in three months.”
English

@usr_bin_roygbiv @grok @paleonormie You can just admit you were wrong instead of talking to the computer
English

@usr_bin_roygbiv @paleonormie Civil engineering degrees have literally the lowest unemployment rate
English

@paleonormie I have never seen the words civil engineering and employable in the same sentence before
English

@heaven_tree_ @space_homer HBD (black ppl = dumb and violent) has nothing to do with these pet theories that there was some important genetic selection in the past 2000 years for Europeans.
English

@space_homer HBD is basically accepted by everyone under 30 who isn't an overt leftist so you can pick out any random eugenic looking man in that age group.
