@SirDustyDirks That’s 30% for publishing on their site and a suite of dev tools. It’s not really that insane. Epic locks you into a six month exclusive contract where your game will be found by no one because Epic’s platform is objectively worse for both consumers and developers.

Idk why people are arguing about this he’s correct. I have 10,000+ hrs in CS and 20,000+ in R6. CS is way more simple and easy to get into, it also has a higher skill ceiling IMO. R6 you need 200-500+ hours to just understand the game, CS maybe 10-20hrs.

This might be the nail in the coffin for Destiny. Too little to late. So many features we begged for 7 months ago. Comms were negligent. And the delay is going to promise population numbers plummet (and they might not bounce back)

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels. Thank you for your continued patience and support. We will have more information on our next major update and future plans for Destiny 2 closer to launch. See You Starside.

@fuzzymanboob @DestinyTheGame I would agree. But the grievance is more towards Bungie's mismanagement and lack of communication. This delay should've been communicated all the way back in January. Not to mention Bungie consistently lying on the delivery date of the roadmap.

You. Are. Killing. The. Game. @DestinyTheGame @Destiny2Team The longer you leave critical issues unaddressed, the more people leave, and NEVER come back. Here's a list of issues that are imperative you mention solutions for, or at least acknowledge: -The delay -The roadmap -PvP (cheaters, networking, sbmm ruining every portal mode, sandbox balance) -The PvE meta (rocket pulses cannot continue to be straight up better than most heavies. Abilities cannot continue to make primaries worthless and everyone invincible. This is insanely boring) -The insane communication drought -Plans moving forward for the Portal (everyone hates it) And lastly, the abysmal content drought we're in right now. This lack of communication hurts Marathon as well by garnering negative community sentiment from your core playerbase before the game even launches. Please, I want this game to be good more than anyone, but the way you are handling it screams that you genuinely do not care at all.
