Nope.
Star Wars is in the World between Worlds.
They purposely dissed, angered and chased away all the older fans who supported it for 40+ years,
and they have absolutely no idea what newer fans under the age of 25 actually want.
From the Greatest to the Deadest in two movies.

🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦: Lucasfilm’s reported new goal is to produce two Disney+ series and one film per year. It’s also rumoured that future films will no longer be standalone stories, with all projects connecting to the next Star Wars saga. (via @TheInSneider) #StarWars #Lucasfilm

@CrossMaul I liked the Barriss arc, it showed us that she grew & matured. I did not expect that from a cartoon, it was a welcome surprise. And poor 4th Sister, Barriss is in her head now, full of regret. Great to see nuance in a character that committed horrific brutality. Inquisitors suck!

This gets thrown around a lot (I'm guilty of it) but maybe the worst Star War

What are your thoughts on Tales of the Empire?
English

@ScriptTrooper And your post rhymes, doesn’t it, with the off-screen pre-TPM shenanigans that Palpatine must have done to Shmi to induce the Force parthenogenesis that impregnated her? <my head now hurts>

According to Jar Jar Abrams he isn’t dead, his essence entered Rey when she killed him. It’s in the movie.

Ian McDiarmid questions whether Palpatine is truly dead after the events of THE RISE OF SKYWALKER. “But think I’m dead now, but don’t quote me….I don’t believe he’s dead.” (Source: thepopverse.com/movies-star-wa…)

This is probably a super rare card right? 🤣

@MarthsBars That LOV Gist variant is super cool! Did he even know back when he did that cover that Vader’s Castle on Mustafar would be so impactful to Kylo/Ben by issue #12?!
English

@sagathena @ahsokasgoggles Ha! “Smol Goonies” - I love it! Well done!
English

@ahsokasgoggles I remember giggling because the pipe indeed looks huge, but Din's head wouldn't even fit in that thing. Smol Goonies is one of the best parts of this movie.

@GBJerryT @TheKevinDalton Hey schoolmarm, boo on you! We still understand it, even you knew it since you decided to do some awkward and unnecessary fingerwagging. Sorry us normies can’t be perfect like you elites. Lighten up.
English

@TheKevinDalton What school taught you to say “on accident”? They must have done it by accident.
English

@D0ugSt0ne @CardPurchaser Yay! They need to figure out how to make every card a 1 of 1, they would make trillions and every one would be happy!

Am I interested in a Star Wars influencers’ Celebration ticket purchase journey? Content of that kind feels like an “inside baseball” echo chamber. I’m glad you posted about going to LA #StarWars in’27 I’ll tune in! But maybe you’re wasting time going on about buying the tickets?

@Phil_Elmore ”The art got strange“ is so wild to read, Cynthia Martin’s art is what kept my comic collecting heart beating in 85 and 86.

I had a mail-order subscription to Star Wars comics when I was a child. In June of 1986, with Return of the Jedi having been out for 3 years, many believed the franchise was... out of gas. Interest in Star Wars had waned, or so Marvel believed, and they put out a final issue.
Those post-Jedi years were rough. The art got strange and abstract, while the storylines meandered about, adrift and odd. When my subscription was terminated, I had credit for issues left, so I subscribed to GI Joe (and a new obsession was born).
It makes me laugh to this day that people in '86 figured Star Wars was just done and they got ready to turn off the lights on their way out of the building.
