We’re exactly 4 weeks away from Reversed Day at the Old Course at St. Andrews, and I honestly can’t remember being more excited for a round of golf.
Going to Scotland? Exciting. Having the Old Course on the agenda? Even more so. But getting to play the course in reverse, as it was played before Old Tom Morris separated the 1st and 17th greens and started the counterclockwise routing played today, something only a few hundred people have done? As exciting as it gets for me.
Hitting an approach into the 17th green from the 18th fairway, or into the 11th green from the 12 fairway, and so many others, will be the thrill of a golfing lifetime for someone like me. I truly can’t wait.

My annual tweet reminding you all that several states had their jr high state tournament this weekend (ohio, nj, etc.).
Just wrestling yet again shooting itself in the foot with its own fanbase. The most important weekend for our sport and we have half the country busy.

When Mitchell Mesenbrink got to the podium, he went through and shook the hand of the other All-Americans at 165 - all but Mikey Caliendo’s. When Mesenbrink stuck out his hand to the Hawkeye, Caliendo refused to acknowledge him. Mesenbrink shrugged and moved on.
