I’ll keep commenting because Jack is actively ignoring the fact that all holy sites in Jerusalem are closed due to Iranian missiles, which less than two weeks ago hit the church. The church doesn’t have a bomb shelter, and it’s in an active war zone right now. Because Iran doesn’t distinguish between civilians and the military, Israel is forced to take additional measures to protect civilians.

My heart is absolutely broken over the news from Jerusalem today that the Israeli government has denied access to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to Cardinal Pizzaballa and 4 other priests to celebrate a private mass on behalf of the faithful denied the right to gather on Palm Sunday, and yours should be too.
This is an unprecedented move that has ramifications and impact worldwide, and matters deeply in our continued fight for religious freedom around the world.
