@Glinner He evened the odds and the music was banging. The rest of the film was just absolutely awful. To put it another way, finding a bit of corn in shit doesn't make the shit edible.

Is she drunk ? Or stoned? Surely the Secretary of State for Safeguarding and Violence against Women and Girls cannot possibly speak with such total disregard and disrespect when talking about murdered women and girls and be sober? I’m absolutely horrified. How can we expect anything from this woman ? @RestoreBritain_ @pinkladies_uk

@CllrScottC @Frankie_1643 They might claim deep political understanding but the reality is they just look at the polls to inform their opinion. When Reform starts falling in the polls and Restore continues to climb we'll see all but the most stubborn come on over, and they'll be welcome.

If you think jumping ship from Reform to Advance to Restore, then you really have no idea how politics work. You need to actually get elected to government to change things and a far right party like Restore does not have the experience and will never have the support to govern!

Project Hail Mary Absolutely recommend this film. Tense, heartfelt, smart and great characters all wrapped up in near future sci-fi. It's well shot with a lot of practical effects that avoid "actor talking to nothing" problem, music is complementary adding a heartbeat to what is going on but never taking the focus away, and the acting is believable and grounded. The 2.5hrs runtime, which often makes films bloated, feels way shorter than you want. Wanting more is good and a rare thing with movies these days. Go watch it and then read the book. Or, read the book, then watch it. Both have a lot to offer, the core themes are the same, the theatrical adaption is pretty faithful to the source material with just some cuts and character tweaks for the sake of runtime. The book just has more oxygen to really expand on what makes the film work. So regardless of the order you take, if you enjoy one you'll definitely enjoy the other without feeling like it's a rehash of the same thing. Amaze Amaze Amaze out of 3 imdb.com/title/tt120427…

Amnesty UK celebrate creating a historic intellectual vacuum in London today. Reports that a single pigeon infiltrated and claimed dominance over the gathering we're denied. It's thought that it will take council services until Monday morning to clean up the drool and scrub the stench off of nearby buildings.

BREAKING: Historic demonstration against the far right happening in London right now. Tens of thousands of people from all walks of life are marching against hate. Together, we are calling for a different vision of society - one which places dignity, compassion and human rights at its heart.

If you worked half as hard on your own country, instead of grifting other nations for hand outs for the rest of time, you might not live in utter shitholes. You'll get reparations when. 1. You move back to your home country. 2. You pay us for historic social care and services you've incurred upon us. 3. You pay us for ending slavery. 4. You pay us for all colonial improvements made to your countries. 5. You provide documented evidence of forced slavery by the British. To be clear, if your ancestors were sold, your claim should be made to the seller not the purchaser. Bonus for you. If after 100 years you can prove to be a functional country that isn't selling tarmac or murdering each other. We'll give your shit back. Once you pay us for keeping it safe. If that's all too many words for you... here's a sort version. Bugger off.

With age should come wisdom Rupert, do I have to teach you decorum at your grand age? Next time try: More polite: “Please learn how to use a comma properly.” More formal: “Please learn the correct use of commas.” More direct: “Please learn to use commas correctly.” You're welcome 🍹

Moments like this tells you about leadership. The Tories and Reform would have rushed us into the conflict in the Middle East without thinking through the consequences it would have for British people. My Labour government will always make decisions in the national interest.

Was feeling glum after the all the ghastliness on X yesterday, so I took Hobbes on a long, lazy walk. It was blustery & autumnal. I stopped at my favourite ‘witch’ tree, which usually cheers me up. Didn’t work. “But nothin’, no nothin’, can take away these blues…”

Is there anything worse than a crying baby on a plane? I wish parents would control their children. It’s so disruptive. I refuse to believe a baby cries for 10 hours. At some point this is just bad parenting, right?

Politicians have for too long been sheltered from the consequences of their decisions. Security, costs, impunity from the law and consequence. It doesn't surprise me when they fail to think of future generations because they know their future is secure, even if it's outside of a hellhole of their own making. After the critical work is done to restore Britain. We need to carefully but brutally address the political systems (and people) who allowed it's decline so it never happens again. Thank you Rupert for thinking generationally, and congratulations.

This is the main aspect that sets Rupert Lowe apart from Reform and its leadership. Tice famously said when asked about demographic change that he’d be “long gone by then”. He and they only care about the here and now which is no way to govern.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

A very special first introduction today - my second grandchild. It is all of our responsibility to leave a better Britain to our children and grandchildren than the one left to us. We certainly have an awfully long way to go, but I still believe we can do it.

I believe we've missed a mental illness or simply just empowered the feeble minded by giving them tools to be vocal and removed the ability to ridicule and shame them into obscurity. This weekend I've been somewhat shocked at the number and fervour of people on X who believe in chemtrails. If they can self manipulate that far it doesn't surprise me they'd happily accept their own decline and demise.

He won't be replaced though. He'll be in his castle or out of the country. It's the deep seated problem with our politicians, their decisions do not impact them in the slightest. Wage increases, expenses, security, impunity from the law, opportunity for wealth. That all needs to be removed. MPs should live on the national average wage, forced to use the NHS, pay for their transport, live and work without any security.

I don't understand Matt Goodwin - he's pointing out the reality of demographic replacement. Yet he has called mass deportations and remigration ridiculous and racist. It just shows that old mindset in which they would rather be replaced than be called racist.
