@flameosumeet Don't think these narratives are born out of us losing the ties, its more about the embarrassment, getting hit for 7/8 isn't normal at this level and its happened twice in a week.

I think this is partly true but my take on this is more boring—the English teams got difficult draws and got dumped by clubs who are just better.
That doesn’t mean any singular league is better than the PL, just that there are much better teams in Europe.

This UCL campaign is hopefully a lesson to all PL teams that having a team full of bricklayers and plumbers won’t get you anywhere outside of England. Either play football or get brutalised by these technically superior foreign clubs

Quite enjoying how there seems to be an air here of Chelsea thinking they’re just operating at a smarter level than everybody else. It’s been the case for years with their transfer dealings and now the coach is giving off the same vibe.

Sanchez should start, not because the manager has no choice to make a u-turn but because he's literally been more reliable than not this season. We may not see the proper Sanchez again this season because of the turmoil caused but I'd rather have that hope he steps up.

Rosenior has created a lose lose dilemma for the GK position today and it unfortunately starts with him. Jorgensen - False belief if he starts and not rewarding starts on merit which is asking for a bad result. Sanchez - Quickly u-turned whilst it being already too late and having to rely on a GK who you've literally just installed fear and unsettled after working so hard to regain confidence by the fans.
