Testing vibe coding with Claude. As a designer and artist this is insane, but not really viable for big projects and live ops as I don't know how to code 😂. Do you have a different experience with similar tools ?

@Barsuchonok23 I honestly don’t know. I’m no longer in contact with him, I was only commissioned to create the lobby and have no insight into how he’s doing now. His twitter is deleted and I cannot PM him on Roblox. Should be simpler to just create a new game based on Disaster island.

@JamonFromGL @iscriptfast @KreekCraft $750k for a few year of full time work, multi-discipline production is actually conservative depending on scope and geography of the devs Solo made titles or Roblox games built in lower-cost regions aren’t directly comparable to a Western US studio operating full time.

@JamonFromGL @iscriptfast @KreekCraft There aren’t official public budgets for most of the games you cited, so it is speculative and unusable to compare 15 developers earning even $3 to 4k per month over 2 years already puts salary alone between $1M–$1.4M, pre-production, marketing and QA cost count.

I see a lot of people hating on this. 🚨 The reality is games are hard to make and cost a lot of money. So you either get F2P microtransaction games or Paid Access high quality games. Everyday people complain about the "slop" on Roblox, but when push comes to shove those words mean nothing if you're not willing to support the solution to that problem. $30 is a lot of money, and not everyone has that, but this is the solution to the problem so many complain about. For many people it's time to put your money where your mouth is.

@iscriptfast @KreekCraft would you rather have a cash grab egg hunt with no storytelling, no art direction and no gameplay depth ? that's strange I get it, but you need time to craft good games and it is closer to any complete indie steam platformer games than a roblox front page cheap trash game.

@JamonFromGL @iscriptfast @KreekCraft this isn't a casual cash grab f2p game made for profit only. front page slop games are made to be even cheaper but comes with no art direction, no gameplay depth or storytelling and tons of micro transactions to be profitable quickly.

@iscriptfast @KreekCraft Delusional, 70k USD will only cover a small prototype, not even a vertical slice of the game. The devs are working for a living, not for free. Passion does not pay bills when you're an adult, and this project wouldn't exist without crowdfunding. You should be thankful

@KreekCraft the problem isn't necessarily that it costs 30$, it's that they also held a fundraiser which raised like 70,000$ (MORE than enough to cover costs and then some), and on top of that you have to pay another 30$ to even play the game? Not to mention it's not a smart decision anyways, since if the game was F2P and well monetized it'd make way more money overall
