@MarthaKelly3 It isn't, but this tweet explicitly makes it about more than op and repeats a common bad take. I don't think it was intentional, but it was a bad way to express it. And at this point kinda ignores that those who really can't 'bust' the worker just don't get their food.

My last time using grocery delivery and I got a man, he started refunding stuff that I knew dang on well the store had. I was so pissed I got in the car and went to the store he was at, bruh was literally standing in one aisle on the phone.

@whowhatnow56 And this tweet says 'those folks'. This tweet isn't about only op. This tweet is assuming anyone who is able to confront a shopper is able to get their own groceries, and that's wrong.

@whowhatnow56 Right, but the statement is, 'someone too disabled to do their own shopping wouldn't/couldn't go to the grocery store to confront someone not getting them the food they need' and THAT isn't necessarily true, and even if it was... what DO they do, then?

@impimeok Ability to get to the store and look for someone =/= the ability to do grocery shopping. The actual shopping requires being there for a long time, moving for a long time, moving items for a long time. Whether op can or not, it's not a fair assumption to make.

@themichaelest yeah but have you considered the possibility that if a whole bunch of disabled people are saying 'this is a hurtful way to say what you are trying to say' while acknowledging the context, maybe they are right because.... they get to say when something is ableist.

@foggyknitter My childhood cat was called Grr by the aunt and uncle who initially took her in because they had other pets and she spent the entire time there up on the cabinets growling at them. She preferred dealing with four young kids to any other animal.

@jessdkant I feel for transkids, truly, but we also need to protect ciskids that might be tricked into thinking they are trans. Kids are impressionable. A lot of kids don't have strong family structures. Letting those kids fall prey to bad, or evil, actors will only further harm them.

@SeptimusReviews A restaurant once brought me out the packaging for their pre-made dessert because they weren't sure if it had gluten and I still eat there/order for pickup from there whenever I can, because it showed that even if they weren't familiar with it, they cared!

@MadeOfTeeth Well, Legends was kinda limited to sticking mostly to the Pokémon in gen 4. SwSh had a higher number even before the dlc, I think, so hopefully SV will go that direction. At the least, there should be a wider selection, using the later gens more.

@UrsulaV My only specific hope is that this contains more previous generation Pokemon than Legends. That's the only complaint I have about Legends, is that there are so many beautiful Pokemon I miss. Everything else, I trust Game Freak to deliver something awesome.

@UrsulaV I also gotta disagree about WW1 -- we don't get exposed to it as much in the US, where WW2 is by far more popular in media, but I think every college-educated British man who served wrote a memoir about how The War fucked them up forever (or how it TOTALLY DIDN'T, they swear.)

@rhysrenouille I felt like it was something she might also not have known? So 'huge' could mean one of those 'teenage pregnancy led to a kid being told their mom was their sister and their grandparents were their parents' kinda things. If it was an actual scandal he prob wouldn't have proposed?

@Ryan_Todd212 My point was more that HHD cost more than HHP is gonna so I feel like it's not rly unreasonable. It seems like a lot for DLC but it's pretty hefty for DLC too.

@Ryan_Todd212 It's the direct equivalent to something that was a whole separate game for NL (Happy Home Designer). This is less expensive AND better integrated into your main game.

@animalcrossing I hope QOL updates and changes to events to make them less bland are still happening after this. It’s a good update, I’m happy about it, there’s just a few more things missing. Also paid DLC after this game sold like gang busters is pretty scummy, DLC looks good tho

@AnimeMasta3019 HHD was more than $25 though? cuz it was a whole separate game and cuz you had to get a new3ds or a scanner to use amiibo. By making it DLC, HHP is cheaper than HHD, AND you get to immediately integrate its new stuff back into your main island.

@animalcrossing I was never a super fan of HHD (still played it tho cause its AC) since im about as creative as a damn celery stick, but the fact that Nintendo said "Yea y'all aint about to forget about this spinoff" and then slap a whole $25 price tag on it is kinda fucked

@Castor_Phi @NintendoAmerica It's so frustrating when it literally has to be more work to gate them like that, given that the body model is clearly the same! Here it looks like hair is tied to outfit, but in previous games the gender-locked hair is even more ridiculous imo.
