MY OPINION There’s no evidence of any woman being raped from all the videos circulating online. It’s a day festival where woman are instructed not to go to some areas for the duration of the festival. Failure to do so will put you in harms way. The focus seem to be on RAPE that didn’t happen rather than the assault that is seen in this video. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. As a woman, you have to understand something basic on this earth. Good Men are the reason you can walk the earth freely and safely. Good men. If there’s a festival and women as instructed to stay indoors, the best thing you can do is actually stay indoors. The moment you step out, you’ll no longer be under the protection of the good men because an instruction was given by men. So the good men who will ordinarily protect you will only be forced to sit and watch when evil men befalls you. Lastly, I don’t support any man molesting anyone in the name of festivals. End.

Many girls have reportedly been r@p£d and m0l£sted by men in Ozoro during what is being described as a “r@p!ng festival” in the area. According to multiple reports and videos circulating online, today is said to be the day of this festival in the Ozoro community, and girls are wvrned not to go outside. It is alleged that any girl seen outside could be att@ck£d and r@p£d by groups of men. Foreigners who are unaware of this situation have reportedly fallen v!ctim as well. There is Delta state university in Ozoro, and many female students may not be fully aware of the d@nger. It is distvrbing that something like this could be tolerated in society. This is heartbreaking, and urgent action needs to be taken.

It’s unfortunate and tragic to read the New York Times report that the claim of ‘Christian Genocide’ was sourced from one Emeka,an Onitcha based Screwdriver Trader and ‘operator of a small NGO’ who falsely claimed to have documented “125 thousand Christian deaths” using “google searches”.How such an unverified claim could tensed up the US lawmakers,President and the intelligence community, that led to an airstrikes is one of the most foolish and comical historical events in our lifetime. This is shameful.

Senegal is embarrassing the whole of African football. What sorts of nonsense is this? How can you storm out of the Stadium because Morocco was awarded a penalty by VAR. CAF must take drastic actions against them.

The Senegalese players’ withdrawal from the pitch for nearly fifteen minutes, combined with the chaos caused by the Senegal delegation and their supporters, directly disrupted the match and shattered the concentration of Moroccan players especially Ibrahim Díaz, who subsequently missed a crucial penalty that ultimately cost Morocco the trophy. This situation was not a minor incident. It created an atmosphere of confusion, pressure, and psychological destabilization that no player should be forced to face. Such behavior goes against the principles of fair play and sporting integrity. The referee failed to apply the laws of the game. According to regulations, a team that deliberately leaves the pitch and refuses to resume play within the allowed time should face severe sporting sanctions, including the possibility of the match being awarded to the opposing team. In this case, the match should have been terminated, and victory granted to Morocco. Moreover, this orchestrated disorder pulled the Moroccan team out of the game, despite the fact that Morocco was clearly the better side, as confirmed by match statistics, possession, chances created, and overall control of play. What happened sets a dangerous precedent. If such actions go unpunished, football risks turning into a battlefield of intimidation rather than a sport governed by rules. We therefore expect strict and exemplary measures from the governing bodies, particularly the CAF, against all those who disrespected the regulations. Morocco deserves full rehabilitation, respect for its efforts, and recognition of the injustice it suffered. Football cannot move forward if chaos is rewarded and discipline is ignored.

@CAF_Media CAF should have ended the game; this statement is useless. Senegal is now seen as low class by us, We once viewed them as little brothers and treated them kindly, but that has changed. Everyone is on their own turf, and we should require visas to stop them from entering 🇲🇦

Many Nigerians are anti Nigeria What is bad for Nigeria makes them happy and what's good for Nigeria makes them sad and the fact that they have a ringleader like Obi trashing Nigeria daily his inability to differentiate between Politics and Nigeria makes things worse. Nduka, if you want to massively increase your followers and likes, switch to anti Nigerian content because it sells, this is what most Nigerian influencers are doing to increase Followers. Being anti Nigerian on social media is a money making scheme.

INDEPENDENT NATIONAL ELECTORAL COMMISSION PRESS RELEASE OUTCOME OF THE REVIEW OF SIGNATURES/THUMBPRINTS OF THE PETITIONERS FOR THE RECALL OF THE SENATOR REPRESENTING KOGI CENTRAL SENATORIAL DISTRICT The Commission held its regular weekly meeting today, Thursday 3rd April 2025. Among other issues, the meeting considered and approved the report of its physical count of the signatures/thumbprints forwarded with the petition for the recall of the Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, in line with Clause 2(b) of the Regulations and Guidelines for Recall 2024. The Commission had assured Nigerians that it would handle the matter with fairness to the parties involved and in line with the provisions of the law and our Regulations and Guidelines. First, we ensured that the petitioners complied with the requirements for the submission of the petition. Secondly, we notified the member sought to be recalled in writing, copied the presiding officer of the Senate and simultaneously published the notice on our website. Thirdly, we informed Nigerians that the next step would be to carefully ascertain the number of signatures/thumbprints to ensure that the petition complies with the requirement of the law. This exercise has now been completed. For emphasis, a petition for the recall of a Senator must comply with the provision of Section 69(a) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 (as amended) which requires the signatures of more than one-half of the registered voters in the constituency. The total number of registered voters in the Kogi Central Senatorial District is 474,554. More than one-half of this figure (i.e. 50%+1) is 237,277+1 which is at least 237,278 voters. Across the 902 Polling Units in 57 Registration Areas and five Local Government Areas that make up the Senatorial District, the Commission ascertained 208,132 signatures/thumbprints from the submission made by the petitioners. This translates to 43.86% of the registered voters which falls short of the constitutional requirement by 29,146 signatories. Consequently, the petition has not met the requirement of Section 69(a) of the Constitution. Therefore, no further action shall be taken on the recall of the Senator. In line with the provision of Clause 2(d) of the Regulations and Guidelines for Recall 2024, the Commission has issued a Public Notice to that effect which is also copied to the presiding officer of the Senate. The Public Notice, along with a summary of the review of the signatures/thumbprints of the petitioners, which are disaggregated by Local Government Areas, are available on our website and social media platforms for public information. Sam Olumekun mni National Commissioner and Chairman, Information & Voter Education Committee Thursday 3rd April 2025

Dele Farotimi. A victim of Nigeria
When naira was 600 to a dollar, the man said: "Whether IMF likes it or not naira will rise against the dollar." God proved him to be a liar. When naira fell to 1,700 to a dollar, the same man said; "I gathered some people to pray, thank God for answering the prayers. Today the naira would have been 10,000 to a dollar." And some people still regard him as servant of God. Idiots still give him attention.

@DeleFarotimi @edumontee A weak naira is an asset if you produce and export. Northern farmers are getting record sales as neighboring countries buy large quantities of his produce. We need to produce abundant food and sell at good prices domestically and for export - to profit from volume not inflation
