@SharpFootball Why was this an illegal formation? The ref says 70 (ineligible) was at the end of the line in the initial formation, but the TE (eligible) running over and covering 70 should have fixed that problem. There about a second after the TE stopped before the snap, too.

@BaldyNFL @ChicagoBears @Lions This is a hindsight take. 33 seconds left you expect your offense to be able to run a short yardage play, too. They only needed 5-15 yards — should have been a 4-5s play snap-to-TO. This is on Caleb. Limp snap call instead of stomping/clapping took 3s, among other issues.

Once again, the language many of you refer to as “Farsi” is “Persian,” when speaking English. Persian is also an ethnicity. But not all Iranians are Persian. For example, my mother, who is born in Tabriz, Iran, is Azeri. My dad who was born near Shiraz, Iran, is ethnically Persian.

Over the past 10 years, Prime Minister Netanyahu has directed his messages to the people of Iran a handful of times. Here is his latest message to the people of Iran in the aftermath of the killing of Hassan Nasrallah. It’s worth noting that he repeatedly refers to Iranians as “Persians.” Not all Iranians are Persians; Iran is a multi-ethnic country with a large population of Azeris, Kurds, etc. By only mentioning Persians, he is leaving out tens of millions of Iranians. (People who reply to this mistake that I am noting in this post defensively will likely get yelled at in incredibly harsh terms, sparing none of your feelings, so do it at your own risk. I’m not in the mood for treating politicians with large staffs like they’re above criticism.)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and I don’t care if you call me ageist. No one should serve in a high-level government position past the age of 75. This includes Senate, House of Representatives, all Federal Courts, the Cabinet, and the Presidency. There are lots of jobs in the federal workforce that have age limits on them, these positions should be included on that list.

@AngryBlackLady I’m still convinced she lost because we were a poll believing nation then. Headlines told us there was no way Trump would win, so a lot of people said “why inconvenience myself for a foregone conclusion?” People responded with record turnouts in 2020, so hopefully we will again?

@yashar If we use the same age for "oldies music" that existed in 1981 (15-25 years old) and applied it to now, songs like "Oops I did it again", "Hey Ya!", "Hollaback Girl", and "Lose Yourself" would be considered "oldies" today.

If you’re reaching for a block from behind that you know you’re barely in range for, you do more reaching and less swinging. Yes flagrant, no for suspension, though.

@ThePatsStats @Eatmecookme You had to see it in real time. These freeze frames don’t show how the play went down. She was 100 percent going for the ball and was a step late and got her in the head. Even Caitlin said afterward she knew she was going for the ball, and it wasn’t a big deal.
