@_brivnii @MarathonDevTeam I don't think it's a terrible idea. Tarkov has Arena so there's precedent in other extraction shooters for it. I think a 3v3 mode would be fun and competitive and their experience with Trials of Osiris would help.

@duplopants @GernaderJake That's totally understandable. If it's not for you it's not for you. I am surprised Bungie decided to go with such a niche genre but I am happy to be part of the niche this time. I've fallen off of Destiny and I miss the gun play so this has been amazing for me.

Marathon thoughts after the server slam: The more you play, the better it gets. The addictive desire to keep grinding clicked during day 3. Things can definitely be improved. Bots need to drop more ammo and health, thermals need tuning, etc Really hoping Bungie comes through with Raid/Dungeon type content. Excited to see what secrets they have planned. I will absolutely be grinding the heck out of Marathon for at least a few weeks. Depending on what the replay ability of endgame looks like, it could be a game I main, or could be a game I just play for a bit after each wipe. Not sponsored. Not paid. Just authentic thoughts. ❤️

@duplopants @GernaderJake I enjoyed running solo and that's all I did throughout the server slam. I will say it did feel like some shells were almost a force pick for solo but other than that I thought it was good. I also hate myself enough to play Tarkov solo so that may have something to do with it.

@GernaderJake This is only applicable if you have a team right? Bc as a solo player it sucks day 1, 2 and 3.

@Caliban8Hunter @GernaderJake Do you have any evidence that a D3 was planned? Or maybe they're sick of developing Destiny and want to do something different. They did the same thing with Halo and were forced to continue it like Sony is doing now with Destiny.

@Songthiefbird @GernaderJake It definitely is why there’s not a D3. They’d either be actually investing on improving D2 or they’d have D3 in production. But they said, Piss on the people that has made us money over the last decade and took resources to make this. Now we have a mid extraction shooter.
