Just because you can’t understand something / can’t imagine a situation / couldn’t care less about other people’s suffering doesn’t make it fake news.

That would be rare and unfortunate occurrence. In most cases it would be easily established that the child had died What you are suggesting is that we turn a blind eye to the murder of some, for the sake of avoiding hurt feelings. Hurt feelings can heal given time, death does not. Would you be ok with a viable baby less than 40 weeks outside the womb being terminated? In the womb or in an incubator the child is the same.

My son was born at 34 weeks. I held him in my single hand and after a two week precautionary stay in special care, he’s now a thriving, fit and healthy little boy. Killing a baby at 34 weeks is murder.
Anna Lulis@annamlulis

This is what a 34 week old baby looks like outside the womb. The UK just voted in favor of killing an unborn child at this age. For no reason, just because someone wants to. They call it “reproductive rights” because they refuse to call it what it is: murder.

Egyptian prince Thutmose was entombed with his companion cat Ta-Miu (aka “little mewer”). Here’s the cat’s sarcophagus ~ the inscription says “I myself am placed among the imperishable ones that are in the Sky / For I am Ta-Miu, the Triumphant” (1,500 BC)

Two of my sisters collected our mum’s ashes today. It’s a strange thing to think about, like she’s the remnants of an old newspaper of stories we lost in a fire.

@AndrewMackeyUK I still enjoy IG. Possibly because I have an account for my cats where I mainly see other cats 😂

Disappointing how Instagram is just another cesspit now. Like Facebook, (remember that?) ...just a load of unwanted misery, product-flogging, and fake crap from accounts you don't follow. Why do we bother? Might go back to birdwatching 🐦

‘The consequences are very deadly diseases spreading.’ Political Commentator Chloe Dobbs believes there is a ‘hangover’ from Covid, which has meant people are hesitant to be vaccinated against measles, as there has been an outbreak in North London.

Japanese PM Takaichi has said that “war crimes committed by Japan in World War II have been exaggerated.” My father was released after three and a half years as a FEPOW on the Thai/Burma railway in 1945. He witnessed war crimes every single day. Torture. Summary executions…

@JeanHatchet It really does. Although, to be honest, I can’t stand the Brontë novels. I’ve really tried, and reread them too, but I feel absolutely zero connection, empathy, or compassion for any of the characters. Give me Austen any day.

@BradfemlyWalsh Also the perception of beauty has changed - a Victorian heroine just wouldn’t look like Margot Robbie, unless it were spelled out in the narrative how different in aspect she was. Idk how much that matters, & she’s a fine actor, but her look is too modern and just doesn’t land.
