This morning my cat was hit by a car. I was terrified. And appalled that someone would do that and not stop to see if she was okay, or find someone. The vet says she should recover, but the fear of her not is still there.

You wonderful writers inspire me a lot, so I was wondering... Is it okay to get inspiration from other people/sources, or should a good writer come up with all the ideas themselves?

@HDunn_Writer All writing is good writing. I think it is good to practice writing poetry because it gives you practice saying things with the fewest words necessary. FWIW

#vss365 They first came to me, young, breathless, #besotted. Every year they shared a picnic & poetry beneath my leaves, bringing children & grandchildren, dogs, friends. This year it was just him, he left her with me & I expect his ashes will join hers one day.🌳

@AuthorGFAllen I generally find paperbacks taste the best, and are a lot kinder on the stomach. Hard backs are slightly more filling though.
