If the original Star Wars movies were shown big screen theaters today, would you go see it?

@itsHecticc Probably part of the acquisition by Sony. The game is essentially dead and Bungie probably won't survive.

It’s honestly tragic looking back at the old content destiny 2 lost. And what’s more sad is they promised content would return from the dcv but if you read up on the lawsuit bungie basically said they don’t even have access to the content themselves anymore.

@james_hoganv @d00gs You would think that someone potentially stepping out of bounds might be reviewable, but I can't think of a time that it's been reviewed off the top of my head. Time for a rule change?

My mistake, per NCAA rules this play was not able to be challenged or reviewed. Joe Breschi was told on the field by the officials that the play was not reviewable, which is why he didn’t throw the challenge flag. Either way, how is this not a play that can be reviewed?
James Hogan V@james_hoganv

Generational fumble from Joe Breschi not challenging that play. How do you not have the awareness in that big of a moment in the 4th quarter to throw the challenge flag?

@NuCaloric The interest is still there, we just need good content and shiny stuff to chase.

Lucasfilm greenlit a ‘STAR WARS: THE NEW REPUBLIC’ game that was later shot down by EA. It would have served as a follow-up to ‘THE OLD REPUBLIC’ game. (via pcgamer.com/games/rpg/it-n…)

@creation247 Yeah a weird choice for sure. Not sure what they're thinking, but they're likely working on a replacement based on the feedback from users.

@Uc_heyy02 The durability of the weapon is the most notable aspect. They've also been wielded by great men previously, and are treated with reverence in return.

Valyrian steel is probably the most overrated item in ASOIAF. People talk about those swords like they were carrying entire wars on their own but they were not Give Blackfyre to a mediocre fighter and he’s still getting killed by someone truly elite with regular steel. The weapon didn’t make Daemon dangerous but Daemon made the weapon famous. He was terrifying because he was Daemon. Not because Dark Sister magically made him unbeatable. Same as Arthur Dayne's reputation was not created by Dawn alone. The sword mattered less than the man holding it. Even in the fight against the White Walkers, Valyrian steel mainly levels the playing field. It doesn't suddenly turn average fighters into legends. Fans treat Valyrian steel like some fantasy cheat code when George repeatedly shows that skill, reputation and fear matter far more than the actual sword becos deep down, people in Westeros worship symbols Valyrian steel is basically just expensive propaganda forged into metal.

Fun fact. Only around 0.0000001% of the map of No Man’s Sky has been explored: it would likely take over a million years for the entire human race combined to get over 1%. That statistic is mind-boggling, and mathematically, it is completely accurate. The universe of No Man's Sky contains 18 quintillion planets (specifically, 18,446,744,073,709,551,616). The game does not store pre-made maps. It uses mathematical algorithms to generate planets instantly as you approach them. Spending just one second on every planet would take you roughly 585 billion years to see them all.

@tolkienzone We should get a game like this soon. They've already said that it's in progress and will have a massive open world map that covers the entirety of Middle Earth. I cannot wait to play it.

This is what a Lord of the Rings video game would look like, where you can explore Middle-earth in the style of Elden Ring or The Witcher 3.
