Great day at the Grand National today with the team. It was a very long shift but we'll worth it. Brilliant support form Reg Team. The SC team all pulled together and made it happen. So proud to be a part of this team.

Very productive shift this evening with the team from Walton lane. Several positive stop searched for POCD, logs attended, vehicles seized for no insurance and 3 licencing checks at local pubs. Great to be part of such a proactive team @MerseySpecials

#Arrest Last Friday, @MerseySpecials working in partnership with North West Regional Organised Crime Unit located and arrested a male who was wanted for failing to appear at court for a number of serious animal welfare offences, having already been convicted in his absence.

Last week, @MerseySpecials in Liverpool witnessed a suspected drugs transaction, a male made off and was subsequently detained after a foot pursuit and found in possession of a large quantity of Class A drugs, he was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A #arrested

Don't you just hate it when you're trying to go about your night as an honest criminal and those pesky police decide to stop you? Well, this unlucky criminal was stopped with £7000 cash hidden in his van. Safe to say that he has some explaining to do after his nap in the cells.

Last Sunday, officers on patrol in the Old Swan area of Liverpool have sighted a vehicle to collide with street furniture, despite trying to make off, officers where able to swiftly detain the driver, who presented as intoxicated and blew 102 at the roadside. #fatalfive

A male was stop searched in the St Helens yesterday–Arrested for possession of class A and PWITS–Home address was searched where weapons, cash and drugs were found–He was further arrested for possession of criminal property, offensive weapon and a firearm without certificate.
