A cliffside bookstore has been built inside a massive limestone sinkhole in Guangxi China.
Set in the Mianhua Tiankeng it sits inside a karst collapse feature formed over thousands of years as underground caves eroded and caved in leaving sheer vertical limestone walls.
Bookshelves and walkways are built directly into the rock face with the natural geology still dominating the space layered limestone steep drops and a huge hollow basin carved by water over time.

One of the most important results of monitoring studies of environmental physical fields is the construction of a sonogram of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields, or ELF noise.
An ELF noise sonogram is a graphical spectral-temporal representation of the amplitude of electromagnetic oscillations in the extremely low frequency range.
Below is a sonogram for the last three experimental days in Tomsk (Russia's 70th region).
Key Points for Sonogram Interpretation:
Black vertical stripes indicate a lack of data (no data recording for some reason).
The sonogram clearly shows the natural and man-made electromagnetic background. Natural background includes the background created by lightning discharges, both nearby (local thunderstorms) and distant, hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of kilometers away (atmospherics).
R. Yu. Petelin, in his work "MAGIX Samplitude Pro X Virtual Sound Studio" (2012), noted that there is one area of signal analysis in which the sonogram is simply indispensable: the search for impulse interference. Where a distinct spike is observed on the sonogram, there is most likely a click. In our case, this spike manifests itself as vertical stripes of elevated intensity, i.e., white, and is associated with a local thunderstorm.
The click is a local lightning discharge.
The electromagnetic signal from lightning discharges in the far field is called an atmospheric (the name comes from atmospheric electricity). Atmospherics, which circle the Earth several dozen times before decaying, form Schumann resonances.
The man-made electromagnetic background appears on the sonogram as horizontal, narrow-band, high-Q signals. This background is associated with the operation and radiation from nearby power lines, transformer substations, and various mechanisms capable of emitting electromagnetic waves in the low-frequency range.
Therefore, the sonogram shows Schumann resonances, local thunderstorms, and man-made sources of electromagnetic radiation in the frequency range up to 40 Hz."

Air superiority means you have the advantage and can operate without major interference, but the enemy can still fight back. Air supremacy means the enemy has essentially zero ability to contest the skies. The U.S. has air superiority over Iran. It can conduct strikes, fly rescue missions, and operate across the country. But Iran shot down an F-15E, hit an A-10, struck two rescue helicopters, and forced the destruction of two MC-130s and two Little Birds in a single weekend. That's not supremacy. That's contested airspace where operations succeed but come with real cost. Trump was careful with his language in the rescue announcement. He said "air dominance and superiority," not supremacy. Supremacy is what the U.S. had over Venezuela. Aircraft moved freely because there was nothing left to contest them. Over Iran, every sortie still carries risk. The rescue proved that American forces can operate deep inside Iran and win. It also proved that winning comes with a price tag of downed jets, damaged helicopters, and $200 million in aircraft destroyed on the ground. Air superiority means you can fly.
