So if publishers set the pricing why is it that publisher Sony can't lower their price? Not hard.

After a game sells well we used to get a copy that was about half price a few months after release. Now games are staying the same price 6+ years after release. Demon's Souls should be 29.99 now

@sgaragarru87 in 3 years of owning a ps5 all the games i've gotten on sale are ps4 games outside of diablo 4 and ragnarok game sales have become atrocious this generation, i have a series s and there are some solid sales there but ps5 sales are atrocious

To the folks still defending Sony's pathetic decision to remove physical media from their production, here's a solid reminder why I will never support and you shouldn't either. I had to literally sue Playstation because my OG account was wrongfully banned and it took me 3 years to get it back. All of my licenses and games I paid for digitally were gone. $3,000 worth of items gone due to something that was never my fault in the first place. Remember we were supposed to have 12 live service games and only got GT7, HD2, and Marathon.

@PassiveProphet True, Sony doesn't set the prices, publishers do. But PlayStation still has a monopoly on the official digital storefront for PS games. Once you're in their ecosystem, you have no other choice for digital purchases on that platform, which gives them serious gatekeeper power.

@Critz5 @DANNYonPC They ported two old ass games and got people to pay extra for it when it's totally possible to have given those who own the game a free upgrade. Their priority is to get you to pay now and then pay some more later.

@DANNYonPC To this day I can still access my BO2 stats without a problem on PC. There is a serious problem with priorities in the COD studios.

Small indie studio can't keep the build in stat page online for a 2022 and 2023 game.
