Had to update my bio today from "I’m just here for my holodeck, and a cool avatar." to "Finally got my Holodeck". Star Trek: Infection has me doing all of the things I wished I could do in other Star Trek Games. Best ST game since Star Trek Online in my opinion.

@martydudeVR Seems like the Meta Amabassador program is getting canned or diminished lol!! Its a shame how these apparently OBJECTIVE content creators denied psvr's existence for 3 whole years!!! Year 2 and 3 of psvr2 has been AMAZING!! Some of these content creators did not even cover HITMAN

I don't understand criticizing VR developers for porting to flatscreen after launch. As long as the game is designed around VR first, and porting to flat doesn't harm the VR interaction design, it's a great way for devs to recoup costs and justify bigger budget titles.

Roto VR Explorer update: the new one came in and it fired right up. I definitely have some adjustments to make, but this was a freaking blast. It reminded me of being on an amusement park ride, but with weapons and flying.

@SadlyItsBradley Success in this situation is definitely based on what their goals are, and I agree. I think we've all been excited about this one since the initial rumors before the steam deck release. Really hoping they knock it out of the park.

Several people have confirmed that Valve is aiming to release new standalone, wireless VR headset (codename Deckard) by the end of 2025. The current price for the full bundle is set to be $1200. Including some "in-house" games (or demos) that are already done. Valve want to give the user the best possible experience without cutting any costs. Even at the current price, it will be sold at a loss. A few months ago, we saw leaked models of controllers (codename Roy) in the SteamVR update. It will be using the same SteamOS from Steam Deck, but adapted for virtual reality. One of the core features is the ability to play flat-screen game that are already playable on Steam Deck, but in VR on a big screen without a PC. The first behind closed doors presentations could start soon.

It's been such a fun week to be a Chiefs fan who makes a lot of NFL Pro Era content. It's the only NFL game you can role play in. The conspiracy theories surrounding the Super Bowl are ridiculous IMO but they were a blast to address in-game.
