Biotoxic Disinjector. It’s Strong! … too strong. Tonight Friday April 3rd at 6pm PT we will be doing a change on live taking it down a notch and nerfing its damage. We’re likely to make some adjustments to Biotox in the near future and may not stick to this damage nerf but for now we wanted to make sure we could curb a little bit of its dominion in the game.
The change:
- Biotoxic Disinjector will now deal 35% less damage across the board.
Thanks for all the feedback and we’ll keep chipping away at our long list of future changes.

Marathon is not game of the year. It’s the game of the decade. Hell I would say that it’s game of the century. Historians will be writing about Marathon in the eons to come for what it did for Earthrealm and people are hating on it for absolutely zero reason. All hail peak

They’ve had six months to come up with a roadmap, and saying “closer to June. we’ll chat” doesn’t exactly sound reassuring. I’ve got a pretty grim feeling that this announcement might end up being something like, “Shadow Order is the last update Destiny 2 will receive.”

It's absurd to me that anyone actually believed Marathon would be shut down. They supported Destiny for over a decade and are still supporting it to this day. It's still there and you can still play it and it's still getting expansions. Marathon is here to stay.

The "popularity" of Marathon may have been astroturfed. Evidence from the leaked Discord thread shows they were allegedly paid $5 per main Reddit post and $3 per comment/reply. There is no confirmation yet whether this is true or not, but it could signal Bungie's desperation to combat the negative press the game is getting... because 19K off peak and barely over 40k on peak hours is not gonna be enough to sustain this game long term, due to the costs and budget of the game. Steam review manipulations have also occurred in the past with games like SKIBIDI BACKROOMS, Monsters Domain, Lonely Knight, and Blue Archive. But the disconnect between high steam reviews and the rapidly vanishing playerbase is real... and some people are saying that the positive Marathon reviews are allegedly coming from low-playtime accounts. Even recently, Bungie was accused of scrubbing negative feedback on the Xbox store, where the ratings jumped from ~2.5 to 4+ stars after negatives vanished...

Bungie gives us the best extraction game to date, one of the best art directions in a MP game ever, insanely tight gunplay and amazing end-game maps. Everyone who plays Marathon is having fun.

So my Teammate has ARMS WEEK as the Current Destiny 2 Event instead of Guardian Games.
He's Soft-locked on the Quest lol.
And he can't even play Rushdown unless I am the party leader and select it for him.
Apparently many people have this issue.
