Trump explains why the US has attacked Iran without provocation, sending the global economy into crisis: "We're doing it to help Israel" and the Gulf dictatorships

Hezbollah FPV drones struck an Israeli military base on the Lebanese border; hitting a pickup truck, a Merkava Mk.4M tank, and command vehicles. Separate drone footage confirmed the kills.

WOW! @Theintercept reviewed more than 12000 print articles and 5000 TV segments to check for biases on Israel-Palestine. I thought it would be bad. I had no idea it was THIS bad. No wonder Gaza killed what little credibility mianstream media had. In NYT, Israel's right to defend itself was invoked 99 times. Only once for Palestine. On CNN and MSNBC, it was invoked 755 times for Israel. But only 8 times for Palestine. Emotive words such as slaughter and massacre were used frequently when Israelis had been killed. They were NEVER used in print when Palestinians were killed. In Ukraine, 262 children were killed in the war, and it was mentioned 4223 times. In Palestine, more than 10,000 children were killed, but it was mentioned only 3632. The full article is in the subtweet. It's a MUST READ:

@OALD24 Yes, you don't attack when you are part of the government/military structure. It makes sense.

Today I instructed my legal advisers to consider the harshest legal action against The New York Times and Nicholas Kristof. They defamed the soldiers of Israel and perpetuated a blood libel about rape, trying to create a false symmetry between the genocidal terrorists of Hamas and Israel’s valiant soldiers. Under my leadership, Israel will not be silent. We will fight these lies in the court of public opinion and in the court of law. Truth will prevail.

When they say the Islamic State is resurging in Iraq and/or Syria (claimed attacks since 2019): -25 attacks in 2026 (as of May 7): 1 in Iraq, 24 in Syria -144 attacks in 2025: 16 in Iraq, 128 in Syria -363 attacks in 2024: 70 in Iraq, 293 in Syria -272 attacks in 2023: 151 in Iraq, 121 in Syria -781 attacks in 2022: 484 in Iraq, 297 in Syria -1,495 attacks in 2021: 1,127 in Iraq, 368 in Syria -2,067 attacks in 2020: 1,459 in Iraq, 608 in Syria -2,307 attacks in 2019: 1,252 in Iraq, 1,055 in Syria

Prices are going to spike hard and soon. 1️⃣Last week, the US pulled 8.6M barrels from the SPR + 4.3M from commercial stocks = 12.9M barrels total yanked and exported. Asian buyers alone took 7M for August delivery. 2️⃣US gasoline stocks are already well below the 5-yr average... right before summer driving season. 3️⃣We're draining our reserves to temporarily suppress global prices while the Strait situation accelerates real shortages. The system is running on borrowed time (and borrowed oil). Click below for the full report. peakprosperity.pulse.ly/g9e5rgoscf

חיל האוויר ממשיך לפגוע ביכולות האוויריות של המשטר האיראני: סוכלו חיילים איראנים שהפעילו מערכות הגנה אווירית נגד מטוסי חיל האוויר

JUST IN - U.S. military intelligence assesses that Iran has regained access to roughly 90% of its missile storage and launch facilities, which are now "partially or fully operational."

So China has 3,100 missiles and Iran has 7,300. Sure, buddy.

⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️American-Chinese negotiations and the Russian-Ukrainian settlement Bloomberg (USA). “The US and China are discussing a potential scheme in which each country will determine a list of goods worth about $30 billion, the duties on which can be reduced without threatening national security interests, Reuters reports, citing four unnamed sources familiar with the Trump administration's goals. The White House did not respond to a request to comment on the report. Rubio also pointed out in an interview with Fox News that the US will insist that China help end the war in Iran, as negotiations on a peace agreement continue to worry the White House. “We hope to convince them to play a more active role and make Iran give up what they are currently doing in the Persian Gulf,” Rubio said, adding that “solving this problem” is in China's interests due to Asia's strong energy dependence on the region.” Financial Times (Britain). “Russia and Ukraine believe that there is little prospect of resuming peace negotiations with US mediation even after the end of the war in the Middle East, sources familiar with the positions of both sides say. According to them, Vladimir Putin is aiming to seize more Ukrainian territory by force and intends to expand the list of demands once Russia establishes control over Donbass, a key region. In Kiev, meanwhile, they believe that Ukraine is no longer so vulnerable to US pressure to conclude a quick and unfavorable agreement, as Russia's advance has been halted and drone strikes in the deep rear are causing extensive damage. Donald Trump stated after a brief ceasefire last week that 'we are getting closer and closer every day' to an agreement, but neither side sees much sense in continuing the negotiations, sources said.” Al Hadath (Iraq). “The statement by the UK and nine other European countries about the creation of a joint naval force for immediate deployment in the Baltic and North Seas cannot be considered just a temporary defensive measure. It rather indicates Europe's transition to a new format of interaction with Russia. At this stage, the likelihood of conflict is increasingly perceived as a real, not a remote prospect. Therefore, they are beginning to prepare for it in advance - at the level of technology, logistics and organization of forces. The situation is further complicated by mutual escalation around the Suwalki Corridor, which is considered one of the most vulnerable points in Europe. This narrow strip between Poland and Lithuania connects the Kaliningrad region with Belarus. It is often seen as a possible hotbed of tension between Russia and NATO.” @sashakots
