DTCC is building a tokenization service through DTC — the core securities depository infrastructure that custodies over $114 TRILLION in assets. And #Ripple Prime is listed in the DTCC Industry Working Group. Here’s what that actually means 👇 DTCC’s goal is to tokenize real-world assets already held in DTC custody. • Russell 1000 stocks • ETFs tracking major indices • U.S. Treasury bills, notes and bonds The process is simple: 1. A real asset stays in DTC custody 2. A tokenized version is created 3. That tokenized asset keeps the same ownership rights, investor protections and entitlements 4. It can then move across digital rails 5.
