@EDMIRE2k @SynthPotato Well yea, if you have windows HDR on and it off in the game there will be a mismatch and it'll display incorrectly.
You pretty much always have to enable HDR first, boot the game and then enable it in game.
Some games like BO7 will remember and auto enable HDR on boot

@SynthPotato On PC the game has a blown out HDR filter if my monitor has HDR on and the games built in HDR is off. I have to turn the games HDR on manually for it to fix some weird blowout it has if you don’t.

HDR in Crimson Desert seems to be bugged or badly implemented, at least on PS5.
It gives the game a washed out, gray look and reduces colors across the board, highly recommend turning it off.

Makes me the happiest. DLSS4.5 was dropping me down to 58avg FPS

Might of found the secret settings sauce for @CrimsonDesert_
Cinematic everything but use DLSS 4.0 Balanced and Ray Reconstruction on.
Basically looks native and very steady fps without frame gen. Averaging around 85 fps.
Really seems like this preset was made for RR.

The fight against misinformation online will never be won, but it is sad that this is coming from someone who has 61K+ followers and charges people money to optimize their systems.
You can also very easily test this yourself by using the Nvidia App to measure PC Latency.

If you have a good PC, then you should NOT be using DLSS DLSS adds input delay even though it increases your FPS. The whole point of higher FPS is to lower input delay. Unless you have a low end graphics card, turn it OFF.

Last driver set had a repeatable crash when playing Alan Wake 2, rolled back to a January driver and it was fixed.
Used DDU, put back in the most recent set after finishing the game and it went back to immediately crashing.

PSSR 2.0 does not have a "faster" response than PC. Especially if you have an Nvidia card as the Tensor cores are more efficient than whatever the fuck is in the Pro
Not to mention we have access to Nvidia Reflex that mitigates it even further

Everyone knows that in almost every normal case DLSS will help, it's better IQ than TAA and gives more FPS for 99% of people
Who is even using a 4090/5090 at 1080p, it's 1440 or 4k now

People like @fr33thytweaks and @HardwareUnboxed have done too, and DLSS will lower input latency IF it increases your FPS
Obviously if someone is at 1080p all low and it doesn't boost FPS, then don't have it on
This isn't " the truth " it's common sense

I'll never understand why PS5 only gamers talk about performance. All day long.....60fps this.....PSSR2 that. YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT PERFORMANCE. if you did you would be on PC facts. It doesn't make sense that performance is important to you and you're not on PC

Jason Schreier has confirmed once again Sony is done porting single player games to pc. This means:
- No steam version
- No epic version
- No Playstation launcher that the games are ported to
(* No ports to any pc store)
Sony wants exclusives back to the PlayStation brand!
