the story in Dark Ages Revelations is great, in fact it might be one of the most important Doom stories told yet. i can't recommend it enough. i'm still not quite done with it (it has a post game!) but it's already one of the best Doom chapters ever made

@BlueThunderReal We might still get the DLC. Based on the response below ID can and most likely still make games. I think a potential reset to Doom or possibly new ip could still work.

Just finished DOOM The Dark Ages Revelations. It ends in a way that clearly had a planned second DLC. Which is incredibly bizarre because it will never see the light of day after today's layoffs at ID. And what makes this even worse, is that this DLC was the best DOOM has ever been.

@DaRkWyRuZ its basically an interactive cutscene. The enemies aren't meant to pose any real threat man lol

@BlueThunderReal Flashback enemies are kinda dumb (literally) [first flasback from what I seen here] and their projectiles doesn't even fit their weapons. It looks weird.... like made by different studio.

Here are all 3 flashback sequences from Doom The Dark Ages DLC. This was a brilliant touch and reveals a ton about The Slayer as an actual human being and character and even reveals the origin of Daisy the rabbit.
