And again, I’m not talking about games past it, there would be things you’d hate about cod if it went in any other direction too ya know.

@Spargsy @NotOrionLMAO it sold decently because people were bought into a reboot but the sentiment after the gam came out was not super great if you look back. the mega casual audience loved it but warzone was what pulled the rest of the community back in. and warzone dropped only 6 months later.

I am learning a lot of people seem to think the game only did well because of Warzone and Covid… You guys are insane to think that lmao.

@DANNYonPC @NotOrionLMAO I feel like a lot of you completely forget the perception of the franchise then. Massive fatigue in its direction. MW19 was the shot in the arm it needed at the time. Got interest outside of the core CoD community too (something required for growth) and that’s excluding Warzone.

@NotOrionLMAO The amount of MW19 slander i see nowadays is insane. It’s like people forgot that game kinda saved the franchise.

@sainimatic To be honest I think a lot of these posts are expressing frustration and we should question why these films aren’t getting the time they actually need to release a great product. Not just an okay one. I know this quality can be achieved again. And Spider Man deserves to have it.

What bothers me most about posts like this is how much the tech industry has formatted us to expect things to automatically improve with time. But they don't, especially art. Composition, lighting choices, animation, are subjective creative choices. Also, 12 years is nothing.

So ... turns out that those studios that "made" those DLSS 5 clips didn't know anything about it, either. It was obviously Nvidia, hence why they all look the same.

I genuinely don’t understand how TASM 2 at 12 years old is still light years ahead in its CGI compared to this. I’m always excited for a spidey movie… but man. Will we ever reach those heights again?

Movie was cool but… Paul was good guy for the first half. Has a good sense or right and wrong… and then for some reason randomly decides to throw that aside and drink the worm liquid in a complete character 180. It feels more jarring upon rewatches too.

Is now a bad time for me to say I thought that Paul’s fall to evil in Part 2 was really poorly done and has negatively affected my excitement for this film?
