@SeedOilDsrspctr Doctor here. No point discussing it because a) they lack the base knowledge required to fully understand the root causes b) it's irrelevant to the treatment and symptom relief in the acute phase c) despite counseling they remain noncompliant and continue the pattern of behaviors

One time, I accidentally didn't prepare for a decade of baby-making and had 7 perfect pregnancies and 8 perfect babies. We even capped it off with a low-risk pregnancy and natural delivery for 38-week GA twins.
Most of this is out of our control.

I spent 9+ months intentionally preparing my body for pregnancy (plus years prior of a nutrient-dense diet). I will not be ashamed or feel guilty for having a smooth pregnancy experience while others haven’t. I do not consider myself merely “lucky” as I do not consider all of the effort I put in to be “luck”. A complication-free pregnancy is no accident for most women. It’s intentionally prepared for. I encourage researching how to prepare, applying said information, and sticking to the same effort throughout pregnancy. I use my platform for exactly this, knowing that most women’s bodies are not prepared for pregnancy, despite being designed for it.

Apparently my every-other-day shower schedule was only working super well during my pregnancy because ✨hormones✨ were stopping oil production. Suffice to say, postpartum doesn’t seem to have this same perk.

Interestingly, he slept in the crib in his room for the first time overnight. And I slept in the nursery glider bc I’m not emotionally ready to leave him alone in his own room yet lol

Future moms: another drug to avoid like the plague while pregnant is Zofran for naseas. I didn't know till deep into my pregnancy, but it's been linked to congenital kidney defects. Especially in the first trimester use (when it's most prescribed because of morning sickness).

I actually think Tylenol has its place in pregnancy just like everything else that may not be perfectly ideal but can be necessary, but ACOG and every single healthcare worker I know on Facebook absolutely tripping falling tumbling head over heels to declare how perfectly safe acetaminophen is during pregnancy… like come on. You’re doing yourself a disservice when you assume no risk with every single thing you do. You have to use your reasoning skills and decide whether the risk is reasonable or not. You’re not stupid just because you don’t have certain letters following your name.
