Hollywood doesn't get much right since the mid-90s. The Terminator movies post T-2 have all been disappointing. That said, the dystopian future in Terminator Salvation had some fascinating creative elements. What I liked about the menacing T-600 is how they successfully tapped into a more primitive appearance, by not only making it larger and clunkier, but also how the massive mandible resonates with now-extinct archaic humans such as Neanderthals. (Admittedly, Neanderthals maybe weren't as archaic as we initially thought.)

@CiaranDanielz Vinegar is used to extract the goodness, help preserve it long term and to add the pucker factor. Tapatio is a good bet if you want to avoid vinegary flavor. Or Melinda's hot sauces... but those use a lot of habanero so the puckering is going to be on exit rather then entry.

Why does so many hot sauces either taste like vinegar and isn’t even spicy at all or it is spicy but tastes like grass

People were burned alive during the Palisades/Eaton fires. Vagrants are directly culpable for arson over 17,000 times per year. Meanwhile firefighters are being overwhelmed on fentanyl emergencies, giving Narcan to drug-addicted hobos. It’s GOT to stop. Vote for Spencer Pratt.
Spencer Pratt@spencerpratt

There are 46 vagrant fires every single day in LA…rubbish and encampment fires that destroy property, vehicles, kill pets, spread to vegetation, and compromise infrastructure. That’s 17,000+ fires per year. Until you clear vagrants from the streets, don’t pretend you’re serious about mitigating fire threats.

NEW: California judge bans Kars4Kids ads from broadcasting in California, says the money was mostly going to a Jewish organization in New Jersey. Judge Gassia Apkarian alleged that the ads were misleading because they led the public “into believing donations aid underprivileged children in California.” “…the funds primarily support a separate organization benefiting specific families in New York, New Jersey, and abroad based on religious affiliation,” the judge said. Kars4Kids primarily funds Oorah, which spends money on various programs and initiatives including a $16.5 million purchase of a building in Israel, according to the New York Times. “We believe this decision is deeply flawed, ignores the facts and misapplies the law,” the organization said. “It’s well known that we are a Jewish organization and our website makes it abundantly clear.”

Reporters continue to falsely say the Reflecting Pool is being “painted.” It’s not paint—it’s a commercial coating to seal the pool that has been broken for decades. You have to pick a coating color, so American Flag Blue was chosen to maximize reflectivity.

It's ideological conquest. It's because we're not a nation of one people but a region of competing peoples, with one group trying to take the the reigns of government to erase the other. And right now the people targeted for a erasure are complacent and oblivious to the fact. Now, however, it seems they might be finally starting to take notice.

Don't think this can't happen here. It can and will. The Bolsheviks are spiteful bastards who will destroy all they can, even the grave of a horse Gen. Lee's horse, Traveller, is buried outside the Lee family crypt under Lee Chapel at Washington and Lee University. The leftist administrators and board renamed Lee Chapel "University Chapel" during the George Floyd drama, then dug up and destroyed Traveller's headstone during the same Cultural Revolution There was enough outcry that they eventually replaced it with a vague one that doesn't do Traveller justice, but this stands as a testament to the fetid, rotting souls against which we must fight: our heritage and history are so detested and despised by the Bolsheviks that they'll even try to hide and desecrate a beloved horse's grave to chip away at our memory of the noble deeds of our ancestors. We all must do our part to keep the flame alive

In Minnesota it was common knowledge about the daycare fraud. Nick Shirley stumbled over it while looking into demographic replacement and the rise of Islam—he found something much bigger. Dank, prolific fraud that mainstream media didn't seem to give a shit about. It's obvious politicians already knew; everyone did. The reason it was left alone is far more sinister than you think and has to do with modern liberal thinking. The reason why AOC, Waltz, Newsom, Pelosi, etc. aren't concerned about fraud is because they see it as wealth redistribution: no matter where the money goes, it's better than staying with the businesses that generated it. Although Bernie Sanders called the Minnesota daycare fraud 'disgusting' and said the people doing it should be severely punished, his constant rhetoric about rich people 'hoarding' wealth still fuels the strange progressive thinking that money is better anywhere else—even if it's fraud—than staying in the hands of the entrepreneurs who generated it. That is their economic model and their virtue shield. Successful business owners are seen as greed-driven evil. The state taking their money and giving it out to someone else, no matter who or what it's for, is ultimately the moral thing to do. And the fact that they can get stinking rich while they do it is all the better.

He should've been hanged within an hour his guilty verdict was read—perhaps given 50 lashes just before hand. I"m sure that would've been refreshing for Mary to watch: if not her, certainly everyone else. Not to protect society, but to punish. I want to see criminals punished for the vile deeds they've committed. Protecting society comes second.

In 1978, 15-year-old Mary Vincent was hitchhiking when a 51-year-old man pulled up. Mary was relieved, but the man had different intentions. Lawrence Singleton took her to a secluded mountain, raped her, then hacked off both her forearms with an axe. He then threw her off a 30-foot cliff and left her for dead. But Mary refused to die. In act of incredible resilience, she packed mud into her stumps to stop bleeding out, crawled back up the cliff and walked 5 km completely naked until she found help. Mary survived and later testified in court wearing prosthetic arms. Singleton was arrested but controversially sentenced to just 8 years. That lenient sentence backfired, when in 1997 he murdered another woman.

@BlueDash12 @elonmusk Do you even believe Jesus was more than a fictional character? You don't—so, through your own framing the artist can depict this character however their artistic talent inspires them. My complaint would lie in powers at be mandating how he should carry out his own artwork.

@Rooh_Ullah1 @elonmusk Mandating criteria into art to better fit an ideology, isn't artistic at all. Art is an expression, it's not driven by guidelines of the time. Mandating something into art, is no different than mandating something out of art.

It’s not a problem for most people -- only for those living vicariously through the hope a foreign nation beats one they resent. But ‘Yanks’ is where the Athazagoraphobia really shines: calling Americans yanks in 2026 is as archaic and lame as the French still calling Brits “les rosbifs’. Let’s face it, the Empire’s long gone… and you’re no Lord Cornwallis.
